SELECT VINTAGE is a woman-owned, sustainable vintage e-comm brand based in New York City. We are passionate about helping others to make the transition to consume less fast fashion and curate modern, vintage pieces into their wardrobe along side their existing wardrobe for everlasting one-of-a-kind pieces. Sustainability is at our forefront, every purchase saves 100 single use plastics from entering our oceans. SELECT VINTAGE NYC sources vintage items globally both designer and non and releases weekly drops of new collections including both designer and elevated wardrobe essentials. We are growing quickly and looking to add an eager to learn student to our team for the fall! There is plenty of opportunity to grow within the brand and take on new responsibility. QUALITIFICATIONS • Must be able to come into the studio 3x per week minimum - ideally Tues + Wed to start, located in Dumbo, Brooklyn. • Comfortable being on your feet, moving and lifting merchandise & steaming + cleaning vintage treasures • Past internship/work experience in the fashion industry a plus. • Ability to use all social media outlets and communicate effectively via email. • Team player JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to multi-task. • Possesses a positive attitude. • No task is too big or small. • Fast paced environment • Attention to detail, organizational skills. • Time management skills. • Interest in helping with influencer marketing. • Strong interest in vintage clothing. • Interest in the Select Vintage NYC brand. • Energetic personality. • Comfortable using Microsoft suite • Canva a plus • Shopify also a plus KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Aid in day-to-day operational tasks. • Shipping e-commerce orders. • Assist in uploading new inventory to website via shopify. • Upkeep studio and ensure organization with inventory. • Aid in ensuring inventory is clean and kept in pristine condition. • Assist during photoshoots: styling, preparing samples, organizing photos. • Sales assistance during new product releases and sample sales. • Working pop-up events. • Assisting with administrative tasks. • Keeping authentication files organized. COMPENSATION: • Hourly pay structure.
