Position Summary: The FI Application Manager will focus on driving innovation and stability within our SAP S/4HANA Finance landscape, with a strong emphasis on integrating and managing digital payment providers to enhance our direct-to-consumer (DTC) and retail payment capabilities. Key Responsibilities: System Design and Solution Delivery • Act as the functional lead for SAP FI in S/4HANA Public or Private Cloud environment. • Design, configure, and support core FI processes: General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank Accounting, and Asset Accounting. • Lead solution design and integration of SAP Digital Payments with third-party payment service providers (PSPs) across multiple sales channels (DTC, eCommerce, B2B). Digital Payment Integration • Design and implement secure, scalable integration between SAP and PSPs using SAP’s Digital Payments Add-On, APIs, and middleware (e.g., SAP CPI). • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (eCommerce, CRM, IT Security) to enable real-time payment authorization, settlement, and reconciliation. • Ensure PCI-DSS compliance and data security across payment processing workflows. Operational Support and Optimization • Provide advanced support for SAP FI and payment processing incidents, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Optimize cash application, automated clearing, and bank statement processing via SAP tools (e.g., Electronic Bank Statement, Lockbox, Treasury). Project & Stakeholder Management • Act as a bridge between finance teams and IT, gathering business requirements, developing solution designs, and translating them into system changes. • Lead or contribute to project delivery, including rollouts, enhancements, and process standardization in global/regional deployments. • Document business processes, functional specifications, and configuration rationale. Governance and Compliance • Maintain internal controls over financial reporting and ensure compliance with SOX, tax, and audit requirements. • Collaborate with GRC and security teams to ensure role-based access and appropriate segregation of duties. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. • 7+ years of hands-on SAP FI configuration and support experience, including at least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations. • Proven experience integrating with digital payment providers using SAP Digital Payments Add-On or equivalent custom/API-based solutions. • Deep knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Bank Communication, and Electronic Payment Processing. • Familiarity with SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) or other middleware for integrating external systems. • Strong understanding of finance processes in a CPG or retail environment, especially related to high-volume eCommerce or POS channels. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across business and technical teams.
