Step into a senior role within a luxury brand that blends heritage with innovation.
We are a globally admired luxury retail brand with a long-standing commitment to quality, creativity, and craft. With over 300 employees across our UK headquarters and stores in London, Dublin, and Manchester, we continue to evolve while nurturing a collaborative, people-first culture.
We're now seeking a senior-level Accounts Receivable Accountant professional with a strong eCommerce background to join our growing finance team. This is not just a transactional role, it's a high-impact opportunity to own and enhance our AR processes for one of the most dynamic areas of the business.
Why This Financial Accountant Role Stands Out
• Strategic impact - you'll lead AR for our eCommerce and Standalone Stores, owning the function and driving improvements.
• Technical challenge - the eCommerce area is fast-paced, complex, and highly visible; your experience and insight will be key to streamlining processes and identifying smart solutions.
• Team culture - join a business that fosters learning, creativity, and kindness, where finance is trusted, valued, and growing.
Financial Accountant Key Responsibilities
• End-to-end ownership of Accounts Receivable for eCommerce and Standalone Stores.
• Review, challenge, and improve AR processes-bring ideas, implement change, and solve inefficiencies.
• Support reconciliation of concession stores and identify improvements.
• Oversee daily sales and bank reconciliations, investigate and resolve variances.
• Monitor customer balances, credit notes, deposits, and store settlement differences.
• Deliver accurate month-end and year-end closing activity including balance sheet reconciliations and audit support.
• Manage the AR shared inbox and provide support cover across the team as needed.
• Work closely with the Senior Financial Accounting Manager on strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
• Senior-level AR experience - at least 5 years' experience, ideally in luxury or high-volume retail.
• Strong eCommerce understanding - you'll need a working knowledge of eComm payment flows, settlements, and associated reconciliations.
• Process-driven problem solver - able to spot inefficiencies, suggest solutions, and drive change with confidence.
• Excel savvy - advanced skills for handling large data sets and reconciliations.
• Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA or similar) and comfortable with accounting principles.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A collaborative team player with a high attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
• Experience with SAP and/or Cegid is a bonus.
Please Note:
Candidates must have the full right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
