Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Fraud Specialist with expertise in Third-Party Fraud Strategy across Digital, Account Takeover (ATO), Acquisition, and Money Movement fraud typologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LexisNexis ThreatMetrix (big plus) and advanced skills in SQL and Python to design, monitor, and enhance fraud prevention strategies.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Develop, implement, and optimize fraud detection and prevention strategies with a focus on third-party fraud (Digital, ATO, Acquisition, Money Movement).
β’ Leverage LexisNexis ThreatMetrix to build device identity, behavioral, and digital intelligence-based fraud controls.
β’ Conduct deep-dive analysis of fraudulent patterns, emerging threats, and customer behavior to mitigate risk.
β’ Build and automate fraud monitoring dashboards, reports, and models using SQL and Python.
β’ Collaborate with product, technology, and risk management teams to integrate fraud solutions into digital platforms.
β’ Perform root cause analysis on confirmed fraud cases to strengthen detection and prevention capabilities.
β’ Continuously evaluate fraud controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and organizational risk appetite.
β’ Stay updated on fraud trends, regulatory changes, and cutting-edge fraud detection tools/technologies.
Qualifications & Skills
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
β’ Proven experience in Third-Party Fraud Strategy, including Digital Fraud, ATO, Acquisition, and Money Movement domains.
β’ Hands-on expertise with LexisNexis ThreatMetrix (highly preferred).
β’ Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, analyzing, and reporting fraud-related data.
β’ Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and model development.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
β’ Ability to work cross-functionally and present fraud insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
Nice to Have
β’ Experience with other fraud detection platforms (e.g., SAS, Actimize, Feedzai, FICO).
β’ Knowledge of machine learning techniques for fraud prevention.
β’ Prior work in financial services, fintech, or e-commerce fraud risk management.
