The Role We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Freelance Digital Shelf and Content specialist to join our team. As the Director, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of digital initiatives for our client, enhancing their presence across global markets. This senior-level position requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of digital commerce, capable of driving innovative strategies that align with client objectives and propel business growth. You will serve as the primary interface with senior clients, guiding them through data-driven insights and impactful digital strategies that optimise product content, availability, and performance on the digital shelf. You will be a key strategic partner to our clients, leading them through transformative digital journeys and positioning their brands for success in the competitive digital landscape. Responsibilities Digital Shelf & Product Content • Develop and lead overarching strategies for global digital shelf optimization, guiding cross-market initiatives that enhance commercial performance • Establish and communicate strategic narratives from digital shelf analytics to C-level clients and influence broader business decisions • Build and maintain strong, senior-level client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for all digital shelf and content strategy initiatives • Collaborate with clients to identify strategic priorities and customize solutions that meet their unique business needs • Pioneer the integration of advanced product content technologies exploring new use cases and demonstrating commercial value • Identify opportunities for automation and scalability within digital operations, providing thought leadership on future-fit digital solutions • Elevate the importance of online availability and drive adoption of best practices across client organization & reduce out-of-stock situations by collaborating with markets and supply chain teams, ensuring KPIs are strategically aligned • Oversee the development and deployment of cutting-edge product content strategies, staying ahead of consumer and retailer trends to ensure sustained relevance and impact • Facilitate effective collaboration between global brand teams, local market teams, and cross-functional partners to ensure aligned strategy and seamless execution • Define and oversee a standardized approach to performance monitoring, using analytics to track progress and inform client strategy • Guide markets in overcoming adoption barriers, refining scalable market blueprints based on strategic feedback • Prioritize and implement strategic initiatives that maximize ROI while ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals Please can you send your CV, share your day rate and availability to chanelle.hall@publicisgroupe.com.
