As a Full Stack Engineer III, you will enhance the platform by developing new features and maintaining existing ones, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to tackle challenges in scaling the e-commerce marketplace.
Responsibilities:
β’ Help guide the direction of the design and development of the systems powering our B2C Marketplace and Distribution products.
β’ Develop innovative solutions that give Vivid Seats a competitive advantage, encourage team members, and champion technology improvements for your delivery team.
β’ Work cross-functionally with other development teams and business stakeholders to deliver impact iteratively.
β’ Tackle some of the most difficult challenges scaling an e-commerce marketplace by developing creative algorithms and features that maximize value and efficiency across the organization.
β’ Collaborate to develop and maintain best practices across the software development lifecycle.
β’ Uphold standards for development and product quality and participate in the teamβs on-call rotation.
β’ Mentor other engineers through pairing, code reviews, and tech talks.

Qualifications:
Required:
β’ 4+ years professional experience building and supporting production web applications.
β’ Experience with modern front-end technologies such as TypeScript, Next.js, React and their interactions with APIs.
β’ Experience developing Web-based, Distributed and Multi-Tier architecture using Java/J2EE or other major platforms (Python, Scala, Clojure, etc.)
β’ Experience designing, building, and testing web services and APIs.
β’ Strong written and interpersonal communication skills to document and share team best practices across the department.
β’ A proactive mindset toward embracing, experimenting, and integrating AI tools to drive efficiency, elevate your work, and contribute to a culture of innovation.
