Role description
Are you at your best when you’re working across both front end and back end?
Do you enjoy being part of a small team where your work makes a direct impact?
Would you like to help build systems that support some of the UK’s most recognisable live events and venues?
This role is for a Full Stack JavaScript/TypeScript Developer to join a close-knit team in Nottingham. You’ll be working on a mix of greenfield and ongoing projects, including a custom QR/e-commerce platform that’s central to their live event operations. Alongside this, you’ll support internal business systems and occasionally refactoring their expansive legacy platforms.
The tech stack is modern and varied: Next.js, React, Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, Docker and Azure, with the occasional need to troubleshoot SQL. Work is split fairly evenly across front end and back end. If you're comfortable across a modern JavaScript stack then that's half the battle won.
It’s a small team, so they’re looking for someone who can work independently, problem-solve without too much hand holding whilst communicating well across both technical and non-technical colleagues. The pace can be fast, with shifting priorities depending on what’s happening in the business, so being adaptable is key.
This is a full-time office-based role in Nottingham - salary is set at £30k–£40k with flexibility at the lower end for those who are capable of hitting the ground running - the perfect opportunity for a junior/early mid level dev who is looking to take their next step.
If you’re curious, open-minded and enjoy working in environments where no two days are the same, this could be a great move.
As always, you know where we are....
