About Us:
High Mountain Imports is a smoking accessories company providing top-shelf products and exceptional service to our partners nationwide. Weβre looking for a hands-on General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, lead our warehouse team, and keep the business running smoothly across fulfillment, receiving, inventory control, facilities management, and collaborating with the sales team. This is a dynamic role for someone who thrives on variety, problem-solving, and building strong teams in a fast-paced environment.
What Youβll Do:
Operations & Fulfillment
β’ Oversee all fulfillment processes, resolve discrepancies, and manage warehouse documentation
β’ Oversee all aspects of inventory management including bin management, cycle counts, replenishment, barcoding, labeling, reconciliations and quality control
β’ Manage procurement of existing items alongside CEO
β’ Ensure orders are picked, packed and labeled accurately to ensure safety in transit and provide a positive unboxing experience for customer
β’ Collaborate with Sales Team to ensure smooth handling of returns, damages, mis-picks, and shipping issues
β’ Maintain existing SOPs while also improving upon them alongside management team
β’ Support local fulfillment needs (ex. client deliveries, vendor pick-ups, airport runs)
β’ Assist management in improving profitability KPIs with a focus on improving expense centers
Team Leadership
β’ Schedule and manage warehouse staff
β’ Serve as key holder β typically first in, last out each business day
β’ Lead a morning meeting with warehouse staff to keep communication consistent
β’ Recruit, interview, hire and onboard when warehouse positions open
β’ Retrain staff on processes when necessary
β’ Build a strong, reliable team culture centered around accountability and consistency
Facilities & Maintenance
β’ Oversee facilities upkeep including, but not limited to, alarms, cameras, doors, trash, fire extinguishers, forklifts, delivery vehicles, plumbing, minor electrical, internet/network and pallet rack setup
β’ Handle office and shipping supply purchasing
β’ Monitor seasonal needs like heating/cooling and exterior lighting schedules
Sales Channels & Marketing
β’ Manage product listings across multiple sales channels
β’ Oversee sales and packaging of in-house products like ResRemover
β’ Plan and execute logistics for trade shows and local marketing initiatives
β’ Collaborate with Sales Team to align marketing and promotional initiatives with inventory metrics
Technology & Problem-Solving
β’ Troubleshoot software/IT issues affecting fulfillment, receiving, or daily operations
β’ Communicate with vendors (including overseas via WhatsApp) to resolve procurement or return issues
What Weβre Looking For:
β’ Proven experience in general management, operations, or warehouse leadership (cannabis industry experience a plus)
β’ Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit, train, and motivate a team
β’ Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills β able to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
β’ Comfortable with hands-on work (from facility maintenance to trade show management)
β’ Proficiency with e-commerce platforms, inventory systems, and digital tools (Excel, Mailchimp, 365, etc.)
β’ A proactive, resourceful mindset with strong attention to detail
β’ Valid driverβs license with clean driving record (for occasional local fulfillment/shopping runs)
β’ Mechanically inclined
