Job Title: GIS Technician/Analyst Location: Anaheim, CA (Onsite) Duration: 18+ Months with Possibility Extension Pay Range: $60-65/hr on W2 Job Description: Summary GIS Technician/Analyst Monday - Friday (40 Hours) - ONSITE Position Description: β€’ GIS specialist to support the development and sustainment of projects we support throughout the Resort. Our department supports a wide range of project types including Attractions, Maintenance, Foods, Merchandise, and Entertainment. Projects range from minor renovations to new facilities. You will also support immediate response efforts with reactionary projects. The objective of this position is to act as a GIS specialist for the Resort to develop and administer the GIS Program for the organization by creating and maintaining geospatial data, visualizations, applications, and tools for internal use by a variety of stakeholders. As a GIS Analyst, you will manage data related to underground utilities, waterways, equipment, and the many other assets at the Resort. Responsibilities β€’ Ecommerce distribution analyst / specialist role. Support internal and external partners as the "on the ground” resource representing the client in implementing and expanding e-Commerce distribution with an existing third-party logistics provider. Basic Qualifications β€’ 3 to 7 years of geospatial experience β€’ Solid understanding of GIS fundamentals and concepts, including asset data management, coordinate systems, cartography, and spatial analytics. β€’ Proficient in the use of Esri's suite of mobile, desktop, web, and server-based ArcGIS products, such as ArcGIS Pro, Portal for ArcGIS, Experience Builder, and Field Maps. β€’ Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documentation such as record engineering drawings to independently solve problems and perform analyses. β€’ Familiar with underground utility systems. β€’ Effective communication skills (verbal and written) with clients, consultants, contractors, Resort stakeholders, and management. β€’ Enthusiasm to learn new technologies and build skills, which is vital in supporting the evolving nature of both the Resort as well as the geospatial and digital industries. β€’ Ability to critically evaluate problems and provide solutions. β€’ You must be a self-starting collaborator to provide experience to bring concepts into physical and digital reality. Required Education: β€’ Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, preferred.
