Overview of the role At Aromatherapy Associates, we are looking for a passionate Global SEO Manager to take full ownership of our global organic search strategy. This is a pivotal role, responsible for driving sustainable growth through technical excellence, innovative content strategies, and seamless integration across our marketing ecosystem. You’ll bring both strategic vision and hands-on expertise, ensuring we stay ahead of the evolving search landscape and new developments in AI and digital innovation. Key Responsibilities β€’ Own the SEO channel end-to-end – shaping both short and long-term strategies, executing impactful initiatives, and proactively applying the latest industry updates, including AI, and emerging search technologies β€’ Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, Web Development, Email Marketing, wider teams to ensure SEO supports business objectives and complements our multi-channel strategy β€’ Develop and implement innovative SEO initiatives that deliver measurable results in organic growth and elevate overall search performance in line with our digital strategy goals β€’ Create and manage roadmaps, ensuring delivery of high-quality, impactful projects on time. β€’ Lead performance reporting cycles (weekly, monthly, quarterly), delivering clear, data-led insights and actionable recommendations β€’ Champion SEO across the organisation, driving global conversations with senior stakeholders and ensuring alignment on technical and content priorities β€’ Enhance the customer journey by working closely with internal teams to identify and resolve SEO challenges, improving both user experience and visibility β€’ Upskill internal teams by sharing best practices, emerging trends, and practical insights into the future of search, AI, and algorithm shifts β€’ Actively researching and applying the latest SEO developments to ensure Aromatherapy Associates remains at the forefront of search innovation About You β€’ Proven SEO expertise – 5-7 years experience with a strong track record working in-house within retail/e-commerce, or at agency level with equivalent experience β€’ Proactive and driven – A self-starter with a can-do attitude, eager to take initiative and continuously evolve in the fast-changing SEO and search landscape β€’ Holistic marketing mindset – Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing and how SEO integrates with paid search, content, social, and broader brand strategies β€’ Technical and content SEO mastery – Skilled in site speed optimization, crawlability, structured data, and technical audits, combined with experience delivering content-led strategies that drive organic growth via Shopify or similar CMS platforms β€’ Data-led decision making – Strong analytical and numerical ability, with proven experience in spotting trends, interpreting data, and making commercially impactful recommendations & decisions β€’ Tool proficiency – Confident using industry-standard platforms, including Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, PageSpeed Insights, SEMrush (or equivalent) β€’ Excellent communicator – Able to clearly translate SEO performance and opportunities into actionable insights for stakeholders across different functions β€’ Hands-on and detail-oriented – Comfortable getting into the detail, implementing SEO recommendations directly, and ensuring quality at every step β€’ Must be able to commute to Head Office in Brentford, Middlesex 2-3 day per week
