Job Title: Graphic Designer Shift: 1st
Department: Marketing Classification: Exempt
I. Job Summary:
Fully supports Company’s vision: “Brinly-Hardy Co. - Since 1839-Making Things Better”, and core values of; Teamwork, Ethical Behavior, Respectful Relationships and a Can-Do-Spirit.
Executes all aspects of the position while focusing on Safety, People, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SPQDC).
Within a Lean organization, the Graphic Designer supports the marketing-related needs within Marketing Department. Creative support may include graphics, photography, video, and/or copywriting for a wide variety media including, print, websites, signage, product cartons, presentations, social media, etc. As a member of the Marketing Department, incumbent will also assist in various marketing tasks, including social media support, website management, event coordination, setup, and may participate in tradeshows and other product presentations.

III. Essential Job Duties:
Manages photography for all Brinly-Hardy Co. products and brands, including some private label brands. Manages in-house and offsite photo shoots and editing to brand standards.
Maintains a well-organized, accurate library of product photos, specifications and other pertinent production information.
Responsible for the creation of product videos for a variety of marketing outlets, including social media, customer presentations, trade shows, customers, and other marketing-related audiences.
Responsible for supporting customer product knowledge through the creation of well-documented “How To” or “Assembly Videos” to showcase product features and enhance the customer product experience.
Designs compelling content for a variety of functions, including print, web, literature, advertising, and beyond.
Participates in the coordinates and execution of offsite photo and video shoots.
Provides creative input across all marketing areas, including graphics, photography, video, computer-aided design, website(s), copywriting, and/or social media.
Collaborates on marketing brand strategies.
Participates in the designs and coordination of sales and marketing presentations for internal and external audiences.
Participates in and assists with the coordination and execution of trade shows
In collaboration with the Marketing Project Manager and Director of E-commerce, plans and supports the execution of marketing campaigns and other sales/marketing-related communications in support of annual sales, promotional programs, new product launches, and trade shows.
Responsible for staying up to date on the latest graphic/design trends and techniques for consumer product goods and make recommendations for incorporating into work products.
Assists with various other marketing tasks to support the department; such as helping manage Freelance graphic design resources, expense management, social media, website/product maintenance, literature management, and event support.
Core physical requirements: Sitting, Standing, Walking, Using Hands & Fingers to type on a keyboard (frequent); Climbing, Reaching, Bending, Twisting (Infrequent); Environment Office-Climate Controlled (Primary). Travel may include a variety of environments.
Travel Requirement: 5-10%
Other duties as assigned.

IV. Qualifications:
The following are the minimum requirements for this job:
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferably, Graphic Design, Design, Videography, or related field.
Work experience:
Minimum 1 years in a creative graphic design role within a marketing department
Experience in developing/designing communication materials with a focus on audio/video production materials and photography for consumer products.
Experience in website and social media content creation, consumer products preferable
Experience in tradeshow design, organization, and participation
Experience in sourcing and managing marketing-related vendors to drive the highest quality at the lowest cost
Merchandising experience, preferably related to consumer products
Expert level user with design software including, but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
Software application skills at intermediate to advanced level: Microsoft Office,
Experience with Shopify/Salsify platforms a plus
Knowledge, skills, abilities, and personal attributes:
