Role description
Capitol Citicom is a fast growing printing business in Columbus, Ohio. We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for both print and digital design, a strong understanding of branding, and experience in the e-commerce space. In this role, you will be responsible for creating captivating visuals for both our physical products and our online store, maintaining a consistent brand identity across all platforms. Key Responsibilities • Creative Design: Design compelling and brand-consistent assets for a wide range of applications, including custom product graphics, marketing collateral, and social media. • Print Production: Prepare and convert customer-supplied artwork into print-ready files. Ensure all designs adhere to high-quality standards and meet print specifications. • Brand Management: Support and evolve our brand identity, ensuring visual consistency across all touchpoints, from packaging and product inserts to our online storefront and marketing materials. • E-commerce Design: Create and optimize graphics for digital storefront use, including main product images, infographics, and promotional banners. • Customer and Internal Collaboration: Work closely with our sales, marketing, and production teams to address creative needs and ensure seamless project execution from concept to completion. Qualifications and Experience • Experience: A minimum of 2–4 years of experience as a graphic designer, preferably with exposure to both the printing industry and e-commerce. • Creativity: A compelling portfolio demonstrating a creative mind, a keen eye for color, brand design and typography. • Technical Skills: High proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Shopify is a plus. • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines. • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and clients.
