Job Overview
We are looking for a talented and ambitious designer to join our busy creative department.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in graphic design, creative ideation, and user-centred web design principles. A significant portion of the role will involve producing assets for campaigns across all digital and offline media channels, as well as creating engaging, responsive designs for website pages and digital journeys. We are looking for someone to contribute fresh, engaging, user-focused design concepts to elevate our creative campaigns and digital experiences.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a diverse range of clients from fast-paced e-commerce clients to brand projects, website refreshes and art direction opportunities, all as part of a thriving, collaborative creative team.
Main Duties:
· Meet clients or account managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job
· Estimate the time required to complete a job
· Develop and pitch design briefs that suit the client's purpose, including for website and digital projects
· Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts, UX solutions and responsive web layouts
· Find innovative ways to redefine a design brief within time and cost constraints
· Present finalised ideas and concepts to clients or account managers
· Work with a range of media, design tools, and web technologies; stay up to date with emerging branding and online design trends
· Proofread and QA digital designs (including web assets) to produce accurate and high-quality work
· Demonstrate illustrative skills with rough sketches and work on layouts for both print and screen
· Collaborate with illustrators and photographers, both in-house and third-party
· Work as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account managers, web developers, and advertising and marketing specialists
· Translate brand guidelines and campaign objectives into digital experiences, including landing pages and promotional web assets
· Support the front-end development team with design specs and assets for work output
Essential skills

Desirable skills
· Experience working with clients and delivering to deadlines
· Experience working in a design or advertising agency
· Animation or motion design for web

· Experience designing for e-commerce platforms (e.g. Shopify, WooCommerce)
· Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
