About The Role
At Crowd Cow, we’re building the world’s leading destination for luxury meat & seafood — and people eat with their eyes first. That means our Growth Content Lead is one of the most important hires we’ll make.
This is not a content manager role. This is the person who will be our brand voice, who can create arresting, provocative content that people share, laugh at, argue about, and remember. If you’ve ever created a piece of content that went viral — this is your playground.
Your Job
• Be the creative spark — make original content that works across TikTok, IG, YouTube, email, and wherever else customers hang out. Pick fights over steaks. Say the things nobody else will (“all the dads voted, ribeye sucks”). Spark debates and make people hungry.
• Build our influencer engine — not through formal brand deals, but by sliding into DMs, commenting constantly, and getting creators on board. Launch a scrappy influencer program by Q4 and scale it from there.

What You’ll Do
• Be the voice of the brand across all content and channels.
• Create and scale compelling video, photography, and storytelling that invite mystery and provoke appetite.
• Launch creator programs and UGC platforms to expand content velocity.
• Build and launch our influencer program in Q4.
• Take an idea from concept → production → launch in days, not months.
• Experiment daily with AI content creation tools (Sora, Veo 3, Synthesia, etc.) to push the creative edge.
• Partner with friendlies (influencers, creators) — DM, comment, engage constantly to get them making content with us.
• Work directly with our Growth Lead to rapidly test content in-market.
What We’re Looking For
• 7+ years in creative/growth/content roles at high-growth DTC/e-commerce consumer brands.
• Natural ability to stir conversation (funny, irreverent, sometimes provocative).
• Fluent in paid + organic content formats (knows what works on TikTok vs. IG vs. YouTube).
• Hands-on creator who thrives without agencies — shoots, edits, and ships fast.
• Hustler DNA: slides into DMs, comments relentlessly, builds partnerships person by person.
• Hungry to make a premium food brand stand out in a noisy world.
How We’ll Measure You
• Creative velocity: how many new content drops each week.
• Virality & engagement: did your content get shared, debated, memed?
• Influencer traction: how many friendlies did you activate by Q4, and how many creators are making content about us?
• Impact on growth: how your content contributes to CAC/ROAS improvements.
