Role description
About RepRally
RepRally is rebuilding how wholesale gets done. Wholesale commerce is a $1.5 trillion industry still run on emails, phone calls, and PDFs. We're changing that by connecting brands, retailers, and independent sales reps in one platform β the operating system for wholesale distribution.
Reps are the ones making the sale, and RepRally is the distribution platform that gives them the data, tools, and guidance to win.
Brands use us to break into the right stores, retailers use us to stock products that actually sell, and reps use us to execute with precision in the field. Behind the scenes, we run the market with Uber-like mechanics β matching supply and demand, predicting what to sell, and driving efficiency at scale. Backed by Greylock Partners and showing strong product-market fit, weβre scaling fast.
The Role
Weβre looking for a Growth Engineer to design, build, and launch experiments that drive adoption and revenue across our three-sided marketplace. Youβll work across the stack β from automating workflows and integrating APIs to building scrappy MVPs that reps, brands, and retailers can use immediately.
This is a hands-on role. Ideal for someone who loves moving fast, is comfortable wearing many hats, and thrives at the intersection of product, data, and engineering. Youβll also have the unique opportunity to work directly with and learn from our experienced founding team β gaining firsthand exposure to the decisions and execution that scale a venture-backed startup.
What You'll Do
β’ Take ownership of projects end-to-end β from prototype to measurable business outcomes
β’ Design and run growth experiments that improve onboarding, retention, and conversion
β’ Build internal tools, automations, and scripts that accelerate go-to-market execution
β’ Integrate APIs and leverage no-code/low-code platforms to test and scale ideas quickly
β’ Use SQL and dashboards to analyze performance and measure experiment impact
β’ Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to prioritize high-leverage opportunities
β’ Learn directly from RepRallyβs founders and senior engineers while contributing to company-defining projects
Youβll work on cutting-edge initiatives such as:
β’ AI-powered sales enablement tools that help reps close more deals in the field
β’ Store data scanning systems that fuel smarter product recommendations
β’ New digital experiences for retailers discovering and buying from brands
β’ Personalized product recommendations to help stores stock the right inventory
β’ Automations for sales reps that make it easier to manage more stores at scale
What We're Looking For
β’ 3+ years of experience in software engineering, growth engineering, or technical operations
β’ Strong full-stack or automation background (e.g., JavaScript, Python, APIs, SQL, Airtable, Retool, Zapper, N8N, DBT,Shopify, no-code tools)
β’ Proven ability to build scrappy MVPs and iterate quickly based on feedback
β’ Comfort working with data β designing experiments, analyzing results, and scaling what works
β’ Startup mindset: resourceful, hands-on, and outcome-driven
β’ NYC-based (this role is in-office with the core team)
Bonus Points
β’ Previous experience in growth engineering or product-led growth roles
β’ Exposure to marketplaces, SaaS platforms, or B2B workflows
β’ Familiarity with CPG, wholesale, marketplace, geospatial, retail, or field sales industries
β’ Experience at high-growth startups running rapid experimentation
Why Join
β’ Drive growth at the heart of a high-growth, venture-backed marketplace
β’ Work side by side with founders and senior engineers, learning directly from their experience
β’ Gain a front-row seat to the U.S. retail industry β how brands, stores, and reps really operate
β’ Work with massive datasets mapping stores and sales activity across the country
β’ Competitive salary and meaningful equity upside
β’ Covered health benefits, unlimited PTO, and a fast-execution culture
