Crowd Cow is building the world’s premier discovery platform for luxury meat and seafood — a foodie’s dream. We’re a profitable Series B company with thousands of happy subscribers nationwide, but our growth mindset is pure startup: high-energy, bold experiments, and big bets.
To do that, we’re not tweaking around the edges — we’re rewriting our growth playbook. We’re seeking a Growth Lead: a doer, not a strategist. Someone obsessed with meat and food culture. Someone who can find and win customers with the same intensity they’d bring to a live auction.
We’re not looking for a channel manager. We’re seeking a customer-obsessed growth lead who doesn’t see channels — you see people. You’ll go where they are, whether that’s Reddit threads, TikTok lives, Discord communities, or Pike Place Market. You’ll get results fast, measure them in weeks, not months, and figure out how to scale only after you’ve proven traction.
We’re looking for someone who can get 500 new customers by the end of this week and then tell us how they did it.
What You’ll Do
• Obsess over customers: don’t start with channels, start with people.
• Use non-traditional, scrappy growth methods to get insights and traction (Reddit, TikTok Lives, niche food communities, IRL hustles).
• Launch experiments in days, not months — speed is everything.
• Build small wins into scalable growth playbooks, only after traction is proven.
• Measure growth results constantly: CAC, retention, referrals — prove what works.
• Partner with leadership to turn insights into new acquisition engines.
What We’re Looking For
• 5–8+ years of growth marketing experience at high-growth DTC/e-commerce consumer brands.
• Hands-on track record of delivering results quickly (tell us: how fast, how many customers, what budget?).
• Deep comfort with scrappy grassroots growth tactics — from setting up multiple Reddit accounts to spinning up TikTok campaigns in a week.
• Doesn’t think in terms of marketing channels first — thinks about where customers actually are.
• Competitive, results-obsessed, thrives on urgency.
• And above all: Must love the category. Must love meat. (Yes, we’ll ask your favorite protein.)
