Role description
POSITION SUMMARY
We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Manager who blends creative marketing execution with operational oversight. This person will own the full marketing funnel, from driving demand and conversion to streamlining the systems that support marketing performance. The ideal candidate is equal parts data-driven strategist and process optimizer—someone who understands how to build campaigns that convert while also managing the infrastructure that keeps those efforts scalable, measurable, and aligned with business objectives.
This role requires a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and can lead cross-functional projects with precision. You’ll work closely with leadership, product, and brand teams to bring campaigns to life, while also managing the tools, automations, and reporting that keep everything running efficiently.
ABOUT US
At HRE, we believe beauty should be effortless, trustworthy, and feel as good as it looks. Frustrated with products full of harsh, synthetic ingredients, we set out to create essentials that deliver on both care and performance. Our formulas are hydrating, vegan, and cruelty-free—crafted with real intention and no synthetic fragrances. With a signature scent rooted in natural vanilla, woods, and spice, HRE offers everyday beauty made for real life, real skin, and real moments.
OBJECTIVES
• Lead the strategy, execution, and performance of paid and organic growth campaigns across multiple channels (email, paid social, content, partnerships, SEO)
• Establish and manage systems and tools (CRM, automation, attribution platforms) to improve marketing productivity and visibility
• Build and refine workflows that increase marketing speed to execution without sacrificing brand or performance standards
• Analyze performance data and develop actionable insights that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
• Own funnel metrics, KPIs, and reporting to measure performance, optimize spend, and guide strategy
• Collaborate with sales, product, and creative teams to align marketing efforts with broader business goals
• Manage vendors, freelancers, or junior marketers to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met
COMPETENCIES
• Proven experience executing and optimizing growth marketing strategies (3+ years), preferably in a fast-paced or startup environment
• Deep familiarity with marketing tech stacks (e.g., HubSpot, Klaviyo, GA4, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Asana)
• Comfortable building and iterating processes to improve team performance and reduce friction
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and moving parts simultaneously
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into decisions and clearly communicate performance trends
• Hands-on, no-ego approach—someone who is as comfortable strategizing as they are rolling up their sleeves
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• 3–5 years of experience in growth marketing, marketing operations, or a hybrid role with a track record of driving measurable results
• Proven experience managing marketing tools and systems (e.g., CRM, automation platforms, analytics dashboards)
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY
As an equal opportunity employer committed to meeting the needs of a multigenerational and multicultural workforce, we recognize that a diverse staff, reflective of our community, is an integral and welcome part of a successful and ethical business. We hire local talent at all levels regardless of race, color, religion, age, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability and actively foster inclusion in all forms both within our company and across interactions with clients, candidates, and partners.
