Role description
For a design-led lifestyle and homeware brand redefining modern luxury Location: Remote (UK-based only) Salary: Up to £45,000 + Potential for Share Options Type: Full-time Our client is a fast design-forward home & lifestyle brand bringing beautifully made furniture and homeware directly from skilled artisans to UK homes. Their marketplace model cuts out the middleman, making artisan craftsmanship more accessible and transparent while championing thoughtful design, sustainability, and storytelling. Originally founded by former leaders at Wayfair and Amazon, they've recently launched their consumer-facing brand after 3+ years of behind-the-scenes building. Backed by a £5M seed round, they're now gaining strong traction and are ready to scale their creative presence in the UK and beyond The Role We’re looking for a Head of Creative & Production to build and own the visual heart of the brand. This is a pivotal role that combines brand strategy, creative direction, and hands-on production. You’ll have full ownership of brand identity, campaigns, and creative pipeline, from photoshoots to AI-enabled content. You’ll collaborate closely with leadership, growth, and product teams, while leading a hybrid creative team (2 Junior Designers and 1 Social Media Manager). You’ll be both a visionary and a doer: able to craft a distinctive brand world, while rolling up your sleeves to lead shoots, edit content, and innovate with new tools. Responsibilities Own and Shape the Brand Identity • Build the brand book (visual identity, tone of voice, guidelines, architecture). • Lead creative direction for campaigns, launches, and seasonal storytelling. • Adapt creative executions to different platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, website, OOH, PR). Lead Content & Production • Own UK-based production: photoshoots, videos, styling, staging, editing, and delivery. • Produce engaging short-form video content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts). • Oversee UGC curation and editing to meet brand standards. • Manage freelance production partners and external shoots. Drive Innovation & AI-Enabled Creative • Stay ahead of creative tech trends and integrate AI tools into production. • Build scalable creative pipelines blending AI, UGC, and traditional production. • Recommend new formats, angles, and approaches to stay fresh and relevant. Lead and Collaborate • Manage and mentor a remote creative team. • Work with CCO, marketing, and product teams to align creative with business goals. • Set efficient processes for asset management, approvals, and delivery. Nice to Have • Creative visionary: Able to build a distinctive and aspirational brand world. • Hands-on producer: Confident leading shoots, editing short-form content, and experimenting with new tools. • Digital native: Skilled in adapting storytelling across digital and social-first channels. • Commercially aligned: Balances creative excellence with growth and ROI. • Leader & mentor: Inspires and develops a lean, distributed creative team. Requirements • 7–10 years’ experience in creative direction, brand design, or content production (agency or in-house). • Proven experience in home décor, lifestyle, fashion, or D2C brands. • Portfolio showcasing brand identity creation, campaign direction, and digital-first creative. • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, video editing tools, and AI creative platforms. • Experienced in managing shoots, working with stylists, and leading production crews. • Skilled at leading and managing distributed creative teams. Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum plus potential for equity Location: Fully Remote - United Kingdom Benefits: • Fully remote – Work from anywhere in the UK • Aesthetically fulfilling work – Build a brand you can be proud of • Early-stage impact – Play a key role at a crucial moment in our growth • Potential for equity – Be part of the value you help create
