Role description
Head of Digital and Ecommerce is required by a global software distribution company to lead their digital transformation and the growth of the organization’s cloud, ecommerce platform channels, and partner ecosystem. You will be responsible for: • Defining and delivering a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with business objectives, that will support revenue growth, and ensure a clear path for innovation and scalability across ecommerce platforms. • Growing and optimising ecommerce platforms and digital channels by enhancing user experience, streamlining online transactions, improving catalogue management, and integrating cloud services. • Leading and managing marketing, product and development teams. • Designing and implementing frameworks and API-based integrations that allow partners to transact, exchange data, and connect their systems directly with the organisation’s digital platforms. • Building and developing strategic partner and vendor relationships. • Ensuring all digital platforms are properly designed for cloud deployment, with a focus on security, reliability, scalability, and data protection. • Acting as the primary interface between IT leadership and commercial teams, converting technical initiatives into operational solutions that can be delivered at scale and measured against defined business outcomes. Required experience and skills: • Digital and eCommerce strategy and delivery experience. • Experience in leading large-scale cloud based digital programs in ecommerce domain. • Strong technical knowledge of eCommerce, SaaS/cloud platforms, APIs, and digital integrations. • Ability to lead global, cross-functional teams. • Expertise in digital analytics, KPI development, and applying data insights to improve performance. • Partnership driven business models or digital marketplaces experience.
