β€’ 5+ Years experience in a technology leadership role designing and developing on-line internet facing channels. β€’ Proven ability to define and execute internet channel strategies from inception aligned to the corporate banking segment. β€’ A proven track record of managing highly utilized critical client facing applications that demand 'always-on' designs and thinking. β€’ Demonstrate experience of owning end to end digital client journeys across on-line applications ensuring they are consistent, usable and provide a premium user and client experience. β€’ Ability to lead cross functional teams including product managers, UX/UI designers and senior on-line platform and application developers. β€’ Possess a strong understanding of emerging digital trends and technologies. β€’ Experience as the operational lead for the day to day effectiveness of on-line platforms including corporate websites, online portals and self-service platforms. β€’ Ability to define and prioritize product roadmaps, feature enhancements and technical upgrades in an enterprise environment. β€’ Collaborate with Technology, Security, Service Management and Product Teams. β€’ Act as a digital champion within the firm to show how Technology can help drive adoption and alignment to the strategic priorities of the firm. β€’ Effectively manage external partners, vendors and agencies to support the development of technology solutions. Purpose of the role To lead and manage engineering teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions, driving technical excellence, fostering a culture of innovation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business objectives. Accountabilities β€’ Lead engineering teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture to achieve project goals and meet organizational objectives. β€’ Oversee timelines, team allocation, risk management and task prioritization to ensure the successful delivery of solutions within scope, time, and budget. β€’ Mentor and support team members' professional growth, conduct performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement. β€’ Evaluation and enhancement of engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency, streamline workflows, and optimize team productivity. β€’ Collaboration with business partners, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure a cohesive approach to product development. β€’ Enforcement of technology standards, facilitate peer reviews, and implement robust testing practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
