Role description
Head of eCommerce – DTC Consumer Brand Location: Remote, USA-based preferred Compensation: $160K–$190K base + bonus + equity A high-growth consumer brand in the health, wellness, and personal care category is looking for a Head of eCommerce to take full ownership of its direct-to-consumer business. This is a hands-on leadership role with the ideal candidate is a full-stack DTC operator — equally comfortable in Facebook Ads Manager and Shopify admin — who can take brands from zero to scale by owning the entire journey from ad creative to checkout. What You’ll Do • Own the full DTC P&L — accountable for revenue, CAC/LTV, AOV, conversion rates, and profitability • Lead paid social strategy (Facebook/Instagram) from campaign structure to creative testing and scaling • Build and optimise high-converting Shopify funnels — PDPs, presale pages, cart, checkout, upsell, and subscription flows • Translate UGC, creator content, and brand assets into high-performing ad campaigns • Design and run structured CRO tests with a clear hypothesis → measurement → iteration process • Track and analyse daily performance metrics in Shopify and ad platforms, making fast, data-driven decisions • Oversee light TikTok affiliate/creator management (small % of the role), feeding winning content into paid social • Collaborate with customer service, supply chain, and creative to ensure operational alignment What You Bring • Proven success scaling DTC brands in health, wellness, beauty, personal care or adjacent sectors • Hands-on experience running Facebook/Instagram campaigns to Shopify with strong ROAS and LTV outcomes • Comfort briefing, editing, and producing high-impact creative — from UGC to VSLs to polished brand video • Deep understanding of consumer psychology and how to connect emotionally with customers • Shopify CRO expertise — you can identify and execute site changes that lift conversion rates and AOV • Ability to thrive in a lean, scrappy environment — running the funnel yourself and tapping freelancers when needed • Strong analytical mindset — daily tracking of KPIs, relentless testing, and a clear optimisation process Why This Role Matters You’ll have one of the highest-leverage positions in the company — the ability to directly influence top-line revenue growth and profitability.
