Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a proven leader to take full ownership of Enkore’s Email/CRM/Lifecycle department. This is a senior leadership role with full P&L responsibility, overseeing a multi-disciplinary team of retention managers, strategists, and creatives. You’ll lead the department’s vision, drive profitability, strengthen operational processes, and ensure our client strategies set the industry standard.
You must bring deep expertise in Klaviyo (required) and a strong command of the Shopify ecosystem, funnel strategy, and complementary retention martech tools. You should be equally comfortable in leadership meetings discussing forecasts as you are reviewing creative, advising on segmentation strategy, or forging partnerships with key platforms.
Job Summary
The Head of Email, CRM & Lifecycle Marketing will lead the Enkore department’s growth and profitability while ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction. You will own the P&L, develop scalable processes, and oversee the delivery of best-in-class retention programs for our clients.
In addition to leadership responsibilities, you will play a senior strategic role in major accounts, ensuring the department’s strategies are deeply aligned with client goals and deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Department Leadership & P&L Management
• Own Enkore’s departmental P&L, ensuring revenue, profitability, and efficiency goals are consistently met.
• Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and staffing plans in collaboration with Lunar Solar Group leadership.
• Monitor account profitability and implement adjustments to maintain strong margins.
Strategy & Client Leadership
• Lead the development of high-impact lifecycle strategies across email, SMS, loyalty, subscription, and referral programs.
• Act as a senior strategic advisor for priority clients, particularly in Shopify-based DTC brands.
• Partner with Sales and Account leadership to expand existing client relationships and support new business wins.
Operational Excellence & Process Development
• Implement and refine workflows, tools, and QA processes to maximize team efficiency and output.
• Standardize reporting and performance dashboards to ensure all strategies are data-driven.
• Oversee creative collaboration between retention strategists, designers, and copywriters.
Team Leadership & Development
• Manage and mentor managers, strategists, and creatives within the Enkore department.
• Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and career development.
• Foster a collaborative culture of accountability, innovation, and client-first thinking.
Innovation & Industry Expertise
• Stay ahead of ESP capabilities (especially Klaviyo), martech integrations, and retention best practices.
• Build and maintain partnerships with relevant technology vendors to enhance service offerings.
• Represent Enkore as a thought leader via industry events, content, and platform partnerships.
Qualifications & Experience
• 8+ years of lifecycle marketing, CRM, or retention leadership experience — agency or high-growth DTC brand preferred.
• Proven success managing departmental P&Ls and driving profitable growth.
• Expert-level proficiency in Klaviyo; advanced knowledge of Shopify and key retention martech tools (e.g., Attentive, Yotpo, Wonderment, LoyaltyLion).
• Track record of delivering retention programs that drive measurable revenue and customer LTV growth.
• Strong understanding of funnel strategy, customer segmentation, and performance optimization.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams including strategy, account management, and creative.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and client management skills.
