The Head of EMEA Sales Excellence Online & Omnichannel will lead strategic initiatives to optimise online and omnichannel sales performance within the life science industry. This temporary role offers an exciting opportunity to drive impactful changes across the EMEA region. Client Details Our client is a global leader in vision care, delivering advanced contact lens solutions and digitally enabled commercial strategies across the EMEA region. With a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and customer-centricity, they partner with omnichannel optical platforms to transform how consumers engage with eye health. Their approach integrates data-driven insights, platform merchandising, and strategic collaboration to drive category leadership in a rapidly evolving healthcare and eCommerce landscape. Description This is a temporary strategic consultancy role (3-6 months, ideally 3-4 days per week), focused on formulating and operationalising a comprehensive EMEA omnichannel business strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders to define the commercial roadmap. • Architect a multi-year omnichannel strategy aligned with commercial, digital, and operational goals across EMEA. • Evaluate existing partnerships and market-specific approaches to identify strategic gaps and growth opportunities. • Develop a scalable sales playbook and implementation framework tailored to digitally enabled accounts and platform dynamics. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Digital, Supply Chain, Finance, and Regulatory teams to ensure strategic alignment and execution readiness. • Provide strategic input on fulfilment models, API integrations, digital content packages, and CRM-based retention strategies. • Support market-level KAMs in translating strategy into joint business plans, KPIs, and executional roadmaps. • Deliver actionable insights through market research, data analysis, and customer feedback loops. • Influence innovation pilots, product roadmap discussions, and category growth initiatives through the voice of the customer. Profile A senior commercial strategist with a proven track record in omnichannel transformation across EMEA, ideally with experience in healthcare, medical devices, vision care or associated industries. • Available for a 3-6 month contract, ideally 3-4 days per week, with occasional travel across EMEA. • 10+ years of experience in strategic account management, digital commerce, or omnichannel leadership. • Demonstrated success in building and executing omnichannel strategies for complex, multi-country organisations. • Deep understanding of digital commerce ecosystems, including marketplaces, subscription models, CRM-based engagement, and platform merchandising. • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills in matrixed environments. • Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish) are a plus. • Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Strategy, or equivalent.
