Role Title: Head of Marketing Communications and Operations Salary: Excellent salary and benefits Location: North of England In this newly created role, we are seeking an experienced Head of Marketing Communications and Operations to champion the customer, unify marketing disciplines, and ensure brand and campaigns land with maximum impact. This is a strategic leadership position, an integral part of the wider Marketing & Operations team, ideal for a passionate and innovative marketing leader. Reporting to the Marketing Director, your mission is to ensure your campaigns deliver maximum impact across all touchpoints from advertising to content to promotions. Responsibilities include: β€’ Champion the β€œvoice of customer”, ensuring all marketing and communications are customer-centric and insight-driven. β€’ Develop and execute integrated strategies that drive growth, expand markets, and strengthen relationships. β€’ Unify brand, creative, digital, and communications into a consistent, seamless narrative. β€’ Manage brand identity and guidelines, safeguarding consistency. β€’ Lead campaign planning, execution, and performance measurement across owned, earned, and paid channels. β€’ Create compelling storytelling and content that reflect brand values and engages customers. β€’ Oversee social media strategy, ensuring brand tone and personality are expressed authentically. β€’ Build media, PR, and influencer relationships to protect and enhance brand reputation. β€’ Lead event planning and execution to reinforce brand presence and support business goals. β€’ Inspire and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration with all stakeholders. β€’ Drive operational excellence by optimising processes, workflows, martech platforms, and AI adoption. β€’ Monitor performance, budgets, and timelines while delivering data-driven insights and reporting. Candidate requirements: β€’ 8+ years of creative design leadership with 6+ years in retail, wholesale, B2B, and e-commerce, delivering impactful brand and marketing strategies. β€’ Proven success in senior marketing communications, operations, and integrated campaign leadership across physical and digital environments. β€’ Strong expertise in brand strategy, customer insights, and omni-channel campaigns, with a portfolio spanning advertising, media, and touchpoints. β€’ Exceptional communication and storytelling skills β€” able to craft compelling narratives, inspire teams, and simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences. β€’ Skilled in social media strategy, copywriting, content direction, and campaign development that drive awareness, engagement, purchase, and loyalty.
