Role description
We are seeking a Head of Marketing & Creative who drives measurable paid performance, embodies luxury standards in art direction, and thrives at cross-functional leadership—especially in a fully remote, high-accountability environment. This role is responsible for both brand and bottom-line, leading all aspects of creative direction, performance marketing, and campaign/project management.
What you'll do:
• Own and aggressively scale US-wide paid media (Meta, Google, and emerging channels), focusing relentlessly on LTV-over-CAC, subscription growth, and retention
• Set the creative vision and manage brand standards: elevate all content across menu drops, product launches, and digital touchpoints with a distinctly premium, European-inspired aesthetic
• Project manage all marketing operations—coordinate remote teams, ensure flawless execution, and proactively fix scope/quality/resource issues before they become bottlenecks
• Run scrappy, high-velocity testing sprints across ads, creative, and lifecycle; iterate quickly based on performance data and team feedback
• Oversee agency and internal team deliverables (content, paid media, design, web, CRM, analytics) with full accountability for deadlines, cohesion, and ROI
• Optimize lifecycle and retention: develop and deploy CRM/email/SMS programs, measure cohort health, and drive up LTV throughout subscriber journeys
• Mentor and unify a distributed, cross-discipline team—setting clarity on responsibilities, launch timelines, and standards for luxury creative and performance
• Report performance, insights, and next actions directly to the CEO/founder; transition into sole owner and key decision-maker for all marketing/creative as you prove results
Who you are:
• Proven experience leading marketing for luxury DTC, food, wellness, or high-end subscription brands—especially with luxury creative sensibility
• You’re a first-principle thinker: you break every ad test down to its fundamental truths—audience, offer, creative, conversion—then rebuild/recalculate and iterate based on what actually works, not assumptions or best practices
• Hands-on expertise in paid digital performance, with a deep toolkit for LTV/CAC analysis and a bias to action
• Prior responsibility for creative/art direction: portfolio shows elevated taste, cohesive branding, and assets tied to measurable outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to manage remote or distributed teams, driving high accountability and communication in a virtual environment
• Experience project managing launches and campaigns end-to-end—owning deadlines, deliverables, stakeholder updates, QA/reviews, and results
• Strong agency/vendor management, able to extract best-in-class output from partners and internal teams
• Clear, direct communicator—loves fixing broken processes as much as building campaigns
