Position Overview The Brackish Head of Marketing & eCommerce reports to the CEO and is a member of the senior leadership team. In this role, you will thrive at leading a small team of e-commerce, social media, and graphic design professionals, and excel at executing brand, communications, and e-commerce strategies that grow the Brackish brand, community, and revenue targets. The successful leader will have a deep knowledge of the Brackish brand, our customer base, our products, and marketing and e-commerce strategies and operations. What You Will Do 1\.     Collaborate with the Founders/CEO, Merchandising, Product Development, and Operations to continually grow the Brackish brand with a clear set of characteristics, benefits, and attributes that define the Brackish organization, values, and products. 2\.     Lead the brand planning process that includes the definition of target consumers and the development of marketing mixes and strategies to drive customer brand awareness, loyalty, and continuing purchases. 3\.     Ensure the brand strategy has guidelines on how, what, where, when and to whom Brackish communicates its brand messages to create strong emotional connections with customers and higher brand equity. 4\.     Develop eCommerce sales and operations targets and execute a strategy to achieve these goals. 5\.     Identify marketing metrics and eCommerce analytics specific to Brackish, interpret the results, and take actions to increase the effectiveness of marketing. 6\.     Understand and become proficient with Shopify and SAP. 7\.     Lead and optimize Brackish website design, social media, and SEO to increase customer engagement and conversion to achieve the company’s online sales goals. 8\.     Lead the Company’s media relations and planning activities. 9\.     Collaborate with the CEO to establish an annual marketing budget that includes goals and objectives with frequent progress reviews. 10\. Create copy and communications materials to both internal team members and external clients that clearly reflect the Brackish brand voice. 11\. Ensure all Brackish print marketing materials, including but not limited to product catalogs and in-store point of sales materials, reflect the Brackish brand image, and successfully target Brackish core customers. 12\. Lead the photoshoot process to ensure new products are portrayed optimally. 13\. Create a calendar of campaigns and events that include identification of needed internal and external resources. 14\. Stay current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and cultivating professional networks. 15\. Provide ideas to the CEO and Merchandising/Product Development team on marketplace roll-out strategies for new products; develop product release strategies including print and digital platforms. 16\. Recruit, train, coach, and develop marketing and eCommerce talent. Education Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business required, strong preference for consumer or fashion marketing emphasis Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) certification a plus Required Skills & Qualifications • Minimum 7 years’ leadership experience in Brand Management, e-Commerce, and Marketing • Previous luxury apparel or luxury accessories experience a plus • Demonstrated experience developing creative, organic marketing mixes and campaigns • Demonstrated success at developing and executing product release strategies • Adept at being a leader…inspiring, collaborative, empathetic, and a great listener • Well versed in digital advertising, social media, website design, SEO, product catalogs, and graphics to increase current customer purchases and attract new customers • Proficient using Shopify, SAP, and eCommerce analytics • Possesses keen sense of curiosity with an eye for innovation • Resourceful - always seeking new organic ways to create market differentiation while building brand loyalty • Eager to be a part of small team dedicated to growing the brand, our employees, and our customers
