Weβre looking for a Vice President of Marketing & Ecommerce to own and scale all digital commerce efforts β driving traffic, sales, and customer engagement.
Role Overview
As VP of Marketing & Ecommerce, you will oversee all ecommerce marketing channels with full ownership of our DTC site, email, and SMS. Youβll develop strategies that increase conversion, customer retention, and profitability while working cross-functionally with the content, social, and retail teams.
This role is both strategic and hands-on β leading high-level growth initiatives while ensuring flawless execution across campaigns, site optimization, and performance marketing.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Ecommerce Ownership: Lead and manage the DTC websites for CharCharms and WallCandy, ensuring best-in-class customer experience, merchandising, and conversion.
β’ Lifecycle Marketing: Own and optimize SMS and email channels, including campaign calendars, flows, segmentation, and performance tracking.
β’ Traffic & Growth: Drive profitable growth through performance marketing, organic strategies, and funnel optimization.
β’ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Social Media team to ensure campaigns, content, and product launches are fully integrated across channels.
β’ Analytics & Reporting: Track KPIs across ecommerce, email, SMS, and paid campaigns; use insights to improve strategy and execution.
β’ Customer Retention: Build loyalty programs, repeat purchase strategies, and personalized experiences to maximize customer LTV.
β’ Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the ecommerce/marketing team, fostering collaboration with social media, creative, and operations.
β’ Budget Management: Oversee ecommerce and marketing budgets to maximize ROI and maintain profitability.
β’ Innovation: Stay ahead of ecommerce and digital marketing trends, introducing new tools, tactics, and platforms.
Success Metrics
β’ DTC revenue growth (monthly/annual).
β’ Improved site conversion rates.
β’ Growth in email/SMS subscriber base and performance (CTR, AOV, retention).
β’ Effective collaboration between ecommerce and social media teams.
β’ Increased repeat purchase rate and customer LTV.
Qualifications
β’ 5-8+ years of experience in ecommerce and digital marketing, ideally in consumer products or retail.
β’ Proven track record of scaling a DTC channel and managing email/SMS marketing.
β’ Strong understanding of site UX, CRO, and digital merchandising.
β’ Experience leading teams and working cross-functionally.
β’ Analytical and data-driven, with comfort in tools like Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, etc.
β’ Strategic thinker who can also execute with limited resources.
