Job Description Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring an International Sales Manager to work with our team in our NYC office. In this role, you’ll oversee the international sales efforts in Asia, the Middle East, India, and Australia. As the International Sales Manager, you will build strong relationships with local reps, Global Connect partners, Lightning Source (LSI), and business partners to expand market reach, increase online presence, and strengthen IPS publishers’ performance across all sales channels. You will also be expected to align with the Sr. Manager and stakeholders across ICG to meet company sales goals and objectives. Ingram Content Group (“Ingram”) connects people with content in all forms. Providing comprehensive services for publishers, retailers, libraries, and educators, Ingram makes these services seamless and accessible through technology, innovation, and creativity. With an expansive global network of offices and facilities, Ingram’s services include digital and physical book distribution, print-on-demand, and digital learning. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree • 5 years’ experience in international sales in the book industry Preferred Skills: • Experience selling in Asia and/or Middle East regions • Experience presenting to business leaders and stakeholders • Experience working with local sales reps in international regions • Experience working with large volume of titles Key Responsibilities: • Manages and supports local reps in Asia and the Middle East; liaise with partners in India and Australia. • Develops and executes regional sales and marketing strategies with reps, partners, publishers, and the IPS shared marketing team. • Expands content availability through Global Connect in Asia, and India; work with Lightning Source Australia and Sharjah to drive local printing. • Identifies and grows relationships with emerging online retailers; determines optimal fulfillment paths via IPS Direct (Jackson, TN), IPS UK, Global Connect, or LSI. • For Australia, assess supply options through Jackson, UK, Ingram Wholesale, or LSI Australia. • Increases IPS publisher content in LSI and Global Connect; monitor category performance and market demand to guide decisions. • Coordinates with marketing to create tailored campaigns for each region. • Maintains consistent communication with reps and partners; lead projects, title launches, international sales conferences, and events. • Represents the regions at sales conferences, providing projections and market feedback to enhance publishers’ appeal. • Provides keyword and metadata guidance to boost discoverability. • Shares reports on new titles, stock status, and gap analysis. • Delivers system training for customers in the Middle East and Asia. • Strengthens relationships with online retailers and expands e-commerce sales in all assigned regions. • Travels strategically to develop accounts, secure new business, and identify growth opportunities. Hiring Salary Range: $87,475k - $110,601k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
