Job Overview: The Enterprise Wholesale Hardware Trader will report to our VP, Product Sales. The Products Sales department is responsible for pricing and selling IT hardware and components through eCommerce and wholesale channels. As part of mender’s strategy to develop greater ties to our inbound clients and to continuously improve our remarketing channels, this individual will assist in the pricing of inbound enterprise opportunities and grow the sales of enterprise IT hardware into secondary markets. This individual will bring in and further develop deep relationships with both domestic and overseas buyers. Responsibilities will also include engaging with the Operations and Business Development teams for optimum path to market for wholesale assets which will include potential for harvesting the components as opposed to selling the wholesale assets intact. Sales Responsibilities: • Support the Business Development team to establish values for Enterprise IT products • This will include servers, networking and as well as related components • Should develop a plan to acquire and sell AI and GPU based assets • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize go-to-markets strategies for Enterprise IT hardware • Contribute strategic relationships with buyers in the global secondary Enterprise IT markets • Support the development of efficient operational, logistics and administrative processes to support the hardware trading model • Work closely with the Operations team to optimize processing of enterprise assets Cultural Stewardship: • Continually exhibit the company’s core values—Humanity, Innovation, Integrity, and No Drama—in all internal and external interactions. • Be intentional in working with minimal interpersonal conflict, reinforcing the “No Drama” ethos.
