We work closely with Shopify and in the last 3 years have developed a truly global portfolio of clients including Represent Clothing, Motel Rocks, Never Fully Dressed, Cole Buxton, TOTEME and various other international retailers in Europe, Middle East, Australia and the US. The Role We’re looking for a Junior Account Executive to join our growing sales team and help connect growing Shopify merchants with our mobile app solutions. In this role, you’ll be focused on identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential clients, supporting our Senior team throughout the sales cycle, and learning the ins and outs of SaaS sales in the e-commerce space. You will also have the opportunity to work inbound opportunities alone post probation. You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure a smooth experience for prospects, from first touch to handover. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their sales career who’s eager to grow into a full Account Executive role while working with some of the most exciting brands in online retail. What You’ll Do • Research and identify Shopify merchants who could benefit from a mobile app. • Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to generate interest. • Qualify inbound and outbound leads, assessing their needs and fit for VennApps. • Support Senior Account Executives with scheduling, preparing proposals, and follow-up. • Maintain accurate records in our CRM (HubSpot), tracking all prospect interactions. • Assist in preparing and delivering product demos alongside senior team members. • Collaborate with marketing to optimise outreach campaigns and messaging. • Participate in ongoing sales training to develop SaaS sales skills and industry knowledge. • Work directly with the founders of the business on a daily basis. • From day one be running inbound deals. What We’re Looking For • 2-4 years in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role (ideally in SaaS, e-commerce, or tech). • Previous track record of success as a BDR in a SaaS company - ideally in the ecommerce space. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to speak to business owners. • Self-motivated, accountable, organised, and target-driven, with a desire to build a sales career. • Comfortable managing multiple prospects and tasks at the same time. • Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce. • Interest in the Shopify ecosystem and e-commerce. • Proactively and willingness to travel to meet prospects and partners.
