Job Summary:

The E-commerce Analyst will be responsible for driving data-driven insights to improve sales, profitability, and process efficiency, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
β’ Run analysis, experiments, reports and more to better understand and improve sales, profitability and process efficiency for internal customers.
β’ Draw actionable insights from varying data sets: consumption, market share, digital shelf, search, among many others.
β’ Interpret complex datasets to tell stories and develop an organized set of conclusions/recommendations that can be easily digested by a broad audience.
β’ Build partnerships with cross-functional teams to understand trends and opportunities for improvement, address customer needs and product pain-points.
β’ Help build automated reporting through AI & BI Platforms, visualizations, and analytical models.
β’ Work with syndicated data sources and partner with technical teams to facilitate the consumption of data for APIs.
β’ In partnership with other members of the team, collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to support/optimize innovation launches and promotional strategies.
β’ Participation with sales results, annual planning, and forecasting processes.
β’ Support the continued enhancement and evolution of Newellβs analytics capabilities to a best-in-class level.
β’ Stay up to date on industry trends/innovations and drive new analytics initiatives that contribute to business goals.
Qualifications:
Required:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Analytics, business.
β’ 1-5 years of direct hands on-Retail/ CPG experience providing solutions in a large global company.
β’ Skill with Microsoft Office applications for the creations of reports, presentations and analysis including Excel functions, formulas, pivot tables, Power Pivot and Power Query.
β’ Strong business acumen with an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
β’ Ability to operate in a matrixed team environment with deadlines & deliverable dates shifting around.
β’ Intellectual curiosity for digging into the underlying story to be told with data.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate technical information to both a technical and non-technical audience.
β’ Understanding of analytical processes including but not limited to data management, forecasting, optimization, predictive modeling and visualization.
Preferred:
β’ Omnichannel experience preferred.
β’ 1+ years of experience with Target business and expertise with systems such as Vender IQ, SOLYS, or BPD data is preferred.
β’ Preferred experience with data tools such as ChatGPT, PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik.
β’ Familiarity with financial concepts preferred (promotional lift, profitability, inventory levels, etc.).
β’ Experience synthesizing disparate data sources to drive to logical, concise, and actionable conclusions, preferred.
β’ Experience using POS Sales data alongside other data sources such as invoice, product margin, supply chain, web marketing, product, and shopper behavior metrics to provide a holistic program for retail growth, preferred.
