As a Developer you’ll be joining a very talented on-site digital team, building out a new product utilising the latest software engineering tools and techniques. This new role will specialise with our EDI processes and services, such as the transmission of electronic sales orders and invoices through various digital channels. Training will be provided to learn our various e-commerce technologies such as CXML, OCI and our website punchout services. Cromwell are always expanding our EDI capabilities, by developing new and improved digital channels allowing marketplaces and customer buying platforms to communicate and trade with Cromwell. What will you do on a normal day? • Managing Integration of new EDI customers including setup, testing and promoting them to our live environments. • Technical implementation and development of our e-invoicing services, such as our XML, CSV, and other required formats. • Developing new EDI services and improving our onboarding process for new customers. • Creating and maintaining customer product catalogues according to specification, allowing our customers to be able to purchase the latest products and have the latest information at their fingertips. • Attending meetings with internal and external customers, including third party providers or marketplace services. • Write effective, efficient, performant and clean code to power new feature. • Refactor and improve existing code. • Collaborate with the product owner to help define and deliver software requirements for programming effort. This includes helping and writing specification for other developers. • Collaborate with the team on the design and user experience. • Will be given the freedom to take ideas and run with them. What are we looking for? We’re looking for someone who has good understanding of agile development and continuous integration/continuous delivery on B2B or B2M (Business to Many) web portals/platform and somebody that has the desire an interest to excel with EDI business deliverables. You would have experience of building infrastructure that quickly identifies and surfaces production issues that impact their users.
