The Junior Graphic Designer, Brand & Packaging will play a key role in designing engaging and on-brand visual packaging & digital solutions for GNC’s private portfolio of globally owned brands and products. An ideal candidate will be adept at translating strategic insights into compelling, cohesive and shelf/digital-ready designs. Sometimes your projects will involve existing brand frameworks, and sometimes you’ll be asked to evolve or create from scratch. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to innovation, product development, packaging production, and merchandising to ensure that all designs align with the project's scope, business goals, and appeal to our target customers. We have brands and packaging designs with many personalities to serve our broad base of consumers, so we’re looking for someone with flexible creativity. What You’ll Do: This is a Full-Time Salary Position JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Packaging Design: • Assist in the creation and execution of product packaging designs for GNC’s private portfolio of globally owned brands and products, ensuring consistency with visual guidelines and regulatory requirements • Assist in packaging updates and refinements • Work closely with the packaging production team to prep files and to work closely with vendors to ensure high-quality print output • Conduct research on packaging trends and competitor designs to help drive innovation • Assist in maintaining and updating visual packaging assets and style guides to ensure consistency across all consumer touchpoints Digital Design: Visual support for GNC owned brands, including: • The creation of digital content assets on GNC.com and e-commerce marketplaces, including thumbnails, banners, & more. • Collaborate with the photography team to create compelling brand and product imagery for e-commerce and marketplace platforms. Additional Responsibilities: Provide visual support for GNC owned brands, including: • High-priority initiatives across the company to drive top-line sales of key categories while staying within budgetary constraints. • GNC’s owned channels (GNC stores and GNC.com), wholesale retailers, and international businesses. • Other duties as assigned Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Work with innovation, product development, packaging production, marketing, and merchandising teams to translate concepts into visually appealing packaging solutions • Work with printers and packaging suppliers to drive cost savings, sustainability, and innovation • Provide creative input and fresh ideas in brainstorming sessions to enhance brand and product storytelling. QUALIFICATIONS: • 1-3 years of graphic design experience, preferably in packaging and brand design • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) • Basic knowledge of packaging production processes and printing techniques is a plus • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines • A creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for branding and packaging • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with different teams
