Role description
Start date September 2025 Job Description β€’ Be competent at sales analysis and trading for website and Wholesale β€’ Seek opportunities for growth and margin improvement β€’ Communicating with suppliers, placing orders and managing delivery dates and logistics β€’ Negotiate buy alongside MD, understanding componentry required β€’ Running weekly stock reports on Dear Inventory to manage stock levels, sharing this with relevant members of the team β€’ Sales and stock reporting and analysis. Week, month, season, annual. β€’ Manage out of stocks β€’ Deliver best seller reports for business to support buy depths, trading and general analysis β€’ Use Shopify reporting to help decision making process on web. β€’ Mange development, booking and delivery of stock. β€’ Ownership of critical path for new products, managing supply base for seasonal deliveries β€’ Deliver seasonal planning with support of MD. Produce company plans at weekly level from April 2025 β€’ Keep detailed RP by season, using as company stock bible and reference point β€’ Pricing - timings and costings for in house products β€’ Comp shops to ensure our RRP’s are in line with comp and support in re sourcing product where needed. β€’ Create & manage price architecture β€’ Costing and negotiating prices for externalΒ suppliers β€’ Raising POs, liaising with suppliers and Knit Shop β€’ Ordering materials and knitted fabric β€’ Managing priority list and QC for seamstress priority list β€’ Setting SKU and supplies up on system, putting stock into system, transfers etc β€’ Checking invoices from a stock point of view, raising invoices, raising manual invoices β€’ Shipping – analyse shipping costs, negotiate terms, liaising with courier account managers and negotiating best rates for wholesale and web β€’ Logistics - getting quotes for large shipments from Europe & China, arranging imports, handling duties β€’ Bespoke projects - point of contact for anything bespoke - having calls and email correspondence with customers, liaising with design and seamstresses, planning in sampling and production into our production schedule, costings timeframes. β€’ Wholesale pricing – setting currency conversions, creating pricelists and order forms for wholesale β€’ Researching anything .gov related, commodity codes, any import/export requirements and ensure all info is accessible and clear for the team β€’ Ordering any material or supplies for the production team and products (cushion pads, threads, zips, stuffing) β€’ Manage product cashflow tracker β€’ Arranging any testing, certification etc β€’ Licensing and royalty contracts - drawing up contracts as required, checking over any licensing agreements that come in, point of contact β€’ Setting up any new systems, processes, maintaining inventory system, contracts etc. β€’ Covering Web and wholesale roles when on holiday, or during busy periods β€’ Manage sample tracker to track stock Skills Required β€’ Methodical and Organised β€’ Competent on Cin 7 and Shopify β€’ Calm and good with people β€’ Ability to multi task β€’ Problem solving β€’ Good communication skills β€’ Negotiation skills β€’ Excellent Excel skills
