The role: Reporting to the Product Manager, the Junior Product Owner will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our ecommerce and digital product roadmap. This role bridges product and user experience, helping to shape intuitive, customer-centric solutions that drive business value. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Digital, Marketing, and Customer Experience, as well as developers, architects, project managers, and external partners. You’ll contribute to product discovery, design, and delivery—bringing ideas to life through wireframes and requirements, supporting user testing, and helping maintain our design system. What you will do: • Collaborate with business teams to understand goals, user needs, and priorities. • Write clear and structured user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria. • Partner with development teams to deliver new features and enhancements. • Support UAT to ensure features meet business and user expectations. • Manage and prioritise development requests from across the business. • Use behavioural insights and analytics tools to identify UX improvement opportunities. • Create development-ready wireframes and map out user journeys to clearly communicate user flows and interactions. • Support the design-to-development handoff process, ensuring clarity and consistency. • Contribute to early-stage design discussions to shape intuitive, user-friendly experiences. • Help maintain and evolve our design system in collaboration with UX/UI teams. What you will need: • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, ideally within ecommerce or digital product teams. • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and content management systems (CMS). • Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar. • Understanding of agile development and sprint processes. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • A creative, problem-solving mindset with a passion for improving user experiences. • Creative with ability to think differently • Ability to develop and build strong collaborative relationships internally with wider teams and external agencies. • Highly organised with excellent time-management skills who can respond positively to changing priorities, managing multiple projects at once. Please note: This is not a technical product owner role. It is ideal for someone with a hybrid interest in product and UX who is eager to grow in both areas.
