🧑‍💼 Junior Project Manager 📍 Location: York, UK (hybrid) About Say Yes Commerce: We’re a boutique digital agency founded in 2024, specialising in Shopify and Headless builds (Don’t worry if you don’t know what that means). We pair unique brand & product storytelling with considered and thoughtful eCommerce strategy, to provide an exceptional experience for our clients. We’re a new business, doing some amazing things, and we’re looking for a friendly and personable Junior PM to join the team, to help us continue to deliver amazing service. Role Overview As our Junior Project Manager, you’ll help manage and deliver build projects from inception to launch, as well as working alongside our retainer clients, who span a range of industries. Working closely with our full team and external partners, you’ll ensure our agency runs smoothly & on time, to delight our clients. Key Responsibilities • Assist in scoping and planning of web project builds (predominantly - but not limited to - Shopify and headless eCommerce) • Create and manage detailed project schedules, milestone tracking, and status reporting • Maintain strong project/ retainer governance • Coordinate cross-functional teams—developers, designers, external partners (e.g. content, UX research, CRO, paid media, email marketing) • Attend kickoff, progress, and client meetings; prepare meeting notes and action lists • Track deliverables and dependencies across strategy, design, development and QA • Help maintain strong client relationships by ensuring transparent communication and managing expectations • Assist in project debriefs, internal governance and process improvement documentation What We're Looking For Essential: • Interest in eCommerce, digital marketing, UX or web development • Eagerness to learn quickly about Shopify, headless commerce, web development methodologies and UX design • Experience (internship, agency or client) in client services and/ or customer service • Organised, detail-oriented, and confident in managing tasks and calendars • Strong communicator—written and verbal, comfortable liaising with clients and internal teams to build unbreakable working relationships • Strong Digital Literacy • Based in York or commuting easily, with hybrid working availability Nice to have: • Experience with Shopify platform (or similar) • Basic understanding of eCommerce Principles • Familiarity with Asana, Jira, Forecast or other Project Management tools • Experience in creative or digital agency environment • Skilled in a creative digital discipline (E.g photography, videography, social media content generation) • Keen interest in AI and emerging technology Why Join Say Yes? • Be part of a nimble team shaping brand experiences for exciting eCommerce brands • Learn first-hand how to deliver Shopify and headless projects with design, strategy and development expertise • Work directly with founder-led brands and senior stakeholders • Interesting projects, where you can make a real difference to clients • Opportunity for career growth into Senior or Lead Roles within a fast-expanding agency • Collaborative culture and flexibility, with strong emphasis on building meaningful relationships with our team and clients Say Yes Commerce is committed to diversity and inclusion, and welcomes applications from all backgrounds.
