Role Summary We’re looking for a Junior Trading Manager to help scale our ecommerce business. This is a data-driven, detail-oriented, and highly cross-functional role. You will be responsible for optimizing the customer journey, product presentation, and commercial performance of our website. You’ll work closely with the inhouse performance marketing team, content team, tech team, and CRM team to deliver a seamless online experience and support ongoing campaigns and growth initiatives. This is an ideal role for someone with 1–3 years of experience in ecommerce or digital trading, looking to grow in a dynamic, hands-on environment. Key Responsibilities Website Trading & Merchandising • Own the day-to-day trading of the Izil ecommerce site, including updating homepage banners, collections, navigation, and product listings. • Optimize onsite search, recommendations, and user experience based on data and customer behavior. • Work with the product and inventory teams to ensure accurate availability and merchandising of products. Campaign & Promotion Execution • Support the execution of online marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, and new product launches. • Coordinate with the performance marketing and CRM teams to align onsite activities with paid and owned channels. • Track performance of campaigns and recommend improvements based on insights. Analytics & Reporting • Monitor ecommerce KPIs (sales, sessions, conversion rate, AOV, bounce rate, cart abandonment) and provide weekly reports and insights. • Use analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, salesforce analytics, Hotjar) to identify opportunities to improve performance and UX. Cross-functional Coordination • Collaborate with the tech team on site performance, bug fixes, and new feature implementations. • Partner with the CRM team to implement personalized onsite experiences and promotions. • Communicate regularly with the customer service team to gather feedback and address ecommerce-related issues. Profile & Requirements • 1–3 years of experience in ecommerce, online trading, or digital marketing, ideally within a consumer brand. • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and tools like Google Analytics, Shopify/salesforce, or similar ecommerce platforms. • Comfortable with basic CMS tools and able to make updates to the website as needed. • Digitally savvy, detail-oriented, and passionate about optimizing customer experiences. • Thrives in a fast-moving startup setting with strong ownership and accountability. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
