Position: Key Account Manager
Location: Southwark, London, Hybrid
About The Position
This is a pivotal sales role within Flora Food Group. As our Retail Key Account Manager, you will focus on managing strategically important Grocery Mult accounts β driving profitable growth and ensuring our plant-based brands, such as Flora, ProActiv, and Elmlea, are front of mind for shoppers.
Youβll deliver against stretching sales and P&L targets through exceptional strategic account management, building strong relationships with key decision-makers, and creating tailored joint business plans that reflect each customerβs priorities and shopper base. This hybrid role involves working three days per week from our London office.
Key Responsibilities Include
Strategic Account Management:
β’ Full P&L ownership for designated Grocery Mult accounts, delivering financially optimised results
β’ Develop annual joint business plans, aligning brand priorities with customer strategies to maximise category and brand growth
β’ Identify and deliver both short-term wins and long-term growth opportunities, ensuring effective risk mitigation
Cross-Functional Collaboration
β’ Partner with the Category team to analyse retail and e-commerce market dynamics, identifying customer-specific opportunities in both physical and digital channels
β’ Work with the Supply Chain team to ensure exceptional service levels and smooth operational execution
β’ Collaborate with Marketing to execute impactful New Product Development (NPD) launches tailored for Grocery Mult shoppers
Stakeholder Engagement And Reporting
β’ Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and long-term success
β’ Report to the Business Unit Lead, contributing insights and actions that support the overall UK Retail growth strategy
What Does It Take to Be Successful?
Experience And Expertise
β’ Proven experience as a Retail Key Account Manager, managing UK grocery retail accounts within FMCG
β’ Direct experience with Grocery Mults is highly desirable
β’ Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a track record of delivering ambitious sales and P&L targets

β’ A commercially astute mindset, with the ability to hold yourself and others accountable for delivering results
β’ Proactive in problem-solving and developing innovative strategies
