Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Key Account Manager to lead and grow our distribution business across ecommerce (retail and marketplace), offline retail, and duty-free channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with key partners, driving sales growth, expanding market share, and ensuring best-in-class execution across all touchpoints. This role requires a strong commercial mindset, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to navigate diverse business models across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Business Growth
β’ Develop and execute strategic plans to expand distribution sales across ecommerce (retail and marketplace), offline retail, and duty-free channels.
β’ Identify, onboard, and manage key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and mutual growth.
β’ Achieve sales, revenue, and profitability targets through effective account management.
Ecommerce (Retail and Marketplace) & Digital Expansion
β’ Build strong collaborations with marketplace platforms, online distributors, and ecommerce partners.
β’ Optimize digital presence through pricing strategies, promotional calendars, and assortment planning.
β’ Monitor online performance, analyzing KPIs such as sell-through, conversion, and visibility.
Offline & Duty Free Channels
β’ Expand presence in offline wholesale and duty-free markets, building strong retail and distributor relationships.
β’ Negotiate contracts, commission structures, and trade agreements with partners.
β’ Ensure compliance with local and international regulations for duty-free operations.
Relationship & Negotiation
β’ Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, maintaining strong relationships with decision-makers.
β’ Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and promotional support to maximize profitability.
β’ Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, finance, and retail operations to deliver tailored solutions.
Market Insights & Reporting
β’ Conduct regular business reviews with partners, analyzing sales performance and market trends.
β’ Identify growth opportunities, emerging markets, and new partnership prospects.
β’ Provide regular reporting to management, highlighting performance, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
β’ Minimum 5+ years of experience in account management, ecommerce, or duty-free/wholesale sales, preferably within luxury retail, beauty, or FMCG industries.
β’ Proven track record of growing accounts and expanding into new markets.
β’ Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
β’ Experience working with regional and international markets is highly desirable.
β’ Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic or French is a plus).
