Description Fueling Success in this Role: VP Racing is seeking a full-time Key Account Manager who is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding VP’s consumer product line within the Automotive and Outdoor Power Equipment Accessories retail channels. This role focuses on increasing distribution and volume by managing assigned accounts and developing new retailer and distributor partnerships across multiple channels. The position requires building strong relationships with buyers, account managers, inventory planners, and sales teams while leveraging data, sales history, and competitive insights to optimize performance. In this role, your essential duties and responsibilities consist of the following: • Sell and expand VP’s consumer product line within assigned retail channels (Automotive and Outdoor Power Equipment Accessories). • Drive growth by increasing distribution, sales volume, and securing new retailers and distributors. • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, account managers, planners, and sales teams. • Use sales history, data tools, and competitive insights to manage territory performance. • Promote VP Racing brand awareness through events, trade shows, and customer activities. • Process purchase orders and coordinate with fulfillment, accounting, and other internal teams. • Collaborate across company divisions on special projects and referrals. • Utilize Salesforce CRM to organize accounts, track prospects, and measure performance. • Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications The ideal candidate must be extremely organized and able to manage the logistics of multiple duties with professionalism and strong communication skills. In addition, strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is critical for success in the role, as are high levels of accuracy, timeliness and dependability. We are looking for someone who can establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization, work effectively with all levels of employees and management, and assist in providing solutions to challenges that arise. If this describes you and you meet the following requirements, we would be happy to speak with you: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field AND at least five (5) years of experience in sales; OR any combination of education and experience that results in the applicable skills, knowledge, and abilities. • Well versed in multiple retail management information systems. Previous sales experience with aftermarket distribution, big box retail, E-Commerce, Travel Center or Industrial is preferred. • Salesforce or other CRM experience • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with large prospects. • Experience working tradeshows and industry events.
