About The Role:
You will play a critical role in evolving the Data & Insight team and will help shape how we grow our function, interact with the business and manage our projects.
You will be focussed on delivery of impactful marketing insights -in all forms - and as such will be working very closely with the marketing team. it is central to ensuring that customer acquisition and retention strategies are both data-driven and commercially viable.
Although focussed on generating actionable insights, you will cover the full data spectrum from building pipelines, analysis of complex datasets, designing and running AB tests, to developing powerful visualisations. This means you will need to blend strong commercial acumen with deep technical expertise. You will report to the Head of Data and Insight, and due to the team size the role is high profile and will work very closely with the CEO, CMO, and the Senior Management team
Requirements
Acquisition & Retention Analytics (30%)
β’ Analysis of customer acquisition channels and retention behaviour, with a focus on performance optimization, channel attribution, and lifecycle KPIs (e.g., CAC, LTV, churn)
Reporting & Insight Delivery (20%)
β’ Develop dashboards, regular βTrade' performance reports, and deep-dive analysis to support stakeholders across Marketing, Product, and Commercial teams. Translate findings into actions
Data Pipelines & Modelling (15%)
β’ Scope out and/or build and model marketing data pipelines, clean datasets, and well-defined KPIs in order to deliver projects
Advanced Analytics / Projects (15%)
β’ Build and maintain models for churn prediction, CLTV forecasting, customer segmentation, and lookalike targeting. Use outputs to drive personalization and targeting strategies
Experimentation & Testing (10%)
β’ Design, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests across marketing campaigns and the digital customer journey. Includes test planning, power analysis, statistical interpretation, and documentation
Commercial Strategy Support (10%)
β’ Contribute to marketing planning, marketing attribution modelling, investment forecasting, and business casing
β’ Model expected outcomes and measure commercial impact of campaigns and initiatives
About You:
β’ Solid experience in a similar role within a high growth, eCommerce or fast paced consumer-facing business
β’ Expertise in acquisition and retention analytics with a strong understanding of attribution modelling, customer funnels and marketing metrics (CAC, ROAS, LTV, churn)
β’ Expert knowledge and experience in SQL, DBT, Python and/or R for database manipulation and statistical modeling
β’ Experience in discovering trends, analysis of complex datasets, and interpreting patterns to deliver insights and actions
β’ Skilled in data visualisation and storytelling using tools like ThoughtSpot and slide-based presentations
β’ Hands-on experience with experimentation design, and test measurement and analysis
β’ Knowledge of and experience in building statistical / machine learning models (e.g. attribution, classification, causal inference, forecasting) in python, or similar
β’ Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs), marketing automation and attribution tools, and web tracking analytics ((e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, GA4, Mixpanel, Hubspot, etc.)
