Role description
Build the Future of Wellbeing
Do Your Life’s Best Work
If modern wellbeing were redesigned from scratch, it wouldn’t live in a GP’s office or a cluttered supplement aisle. It would be digital-first, beautifully curated, and powered by data that actually helps you feel your best.
That’s what we’re building at Healf—an ecommerce platform at the intersection of personalised health and curated wellbeing. We connect customers with the world’s most effective products across EAT MOVE MIND and SLEEP, and we’re just getting started.
We combine culture-shaping storytelling, cutting-edge health tech (like our new blood testing platform, Healf Zone), and a best-in-class product experience to help people build rituals that work.
Backed by investors behind Soho House, Alo Yoga, Cult Beauty, and Innocent, we’re scaling fast—and redefining how the world shops and lives well.
The Role
We’re seeking an experienced and strategic Lead Analytics Engineer to guide our data engineering practice, accelerating the growth of our health-and-wellness e-commerce platform. In this senior leadership position, you’ll architect and oversee scalable, high-quality data pipelines, champion best practices across our modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, ThoughtSpot), and mentor a growing team of analytics engineers.
You’ll partner closely with analytics, product and executive stakeholders to translate business objectives into a robust data infrastructure that empowers data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
• Define & own the data platform roadmap: Establish standards for data architecture, tooling, and CI/CD to scale analytics engineering across the organisation.
• Architect scalable pipelines: Design, review, and optimise ETL/ELT frameworks in Snowflake and dbt, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Lead & mentor: Manage, coach, and grow a team of analytics engineers—conduct code reviews, set technical OKRs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Cross-functional partnership: Collaborate with Data Analysts, BI, Product and Marketing leaders to prioritise data initiatives that drive KPIs and strategic goals.
• ThoughtSpot platform strategy: Oversee the enhancement and governance of our BI layer—drive adoption, build advanced dashboards, and establish training for end users.
• Data quality & observability: Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and data-validation frameworks to guarantee accuracy and trust in all data assets.
• Cloud & automation leadership: Guide the effective use of AWS services (S3, Glue, etc.) and Python tooling for data orchestration, automation, and cost optimization.
• Innovation & best practices: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends; evaluate and introduce new tools or processes to maximize impact.
Qualifications
• At least 4 years of experience in data analytics/engineering , preferrably in e-commerce or D2C companies
• Deep expertise in Snowflake and dbt at scale—proven track record of designing complex data models and transformational pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (optimisation, query planning) and Python for scripting, integration, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native data architectures (AWS S3, Glue, Lambda, etc.) and data observability platforms.
• Demonstrated success in mentoring engineers, driving code quality, and leading technical design reviews.
• Excellent stakeholder management—able to translate business objectives into technical deliverables and communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., ThoughtSpot, Looker, Tableau) and crafting self-service analytics experiences.
• Strategic mindset with a passion for defining best practices, building documentation, and fostering a data-driven culture.
Why Join Healf?
• Do your life’s best work – Build something that matters, with a team that moves fast and aims high

• Premium Wellhub membership – access 1000s of gyms, yoga & fitness studios
• Weekly in-office yoga
• Complimentary sauna + ice bath sessions
• 5-day summer team retreat
