Role description
About The Job
At Games Workshop, we’re passionate about delivering amazing Warhammer products to our customers all over the world, and we are looking for an experienced Lead Merchandising Manager to help us make it happen.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of our dispatch, range, and inventory frameworks, ensuring that the right products are in the right place at the right time. Your work will support our operational success, shaping stock holdings, driving costs down, and delivering the very best experience for our customers.
You’ll lead a talented merchandising team, building clear goals and strong ways of working that help us meet our targets. From forecasting monthly sales and stock needs to fine-tuning our global product range, you’ll ensure we’re optimising profit and stock turnover across every territory. Working directly with our design studio, you will lead product lifecycles, assist in creating new release dates, and make data-driven judgments about what stock works and what doesn’t.
You will have proven experience in a similar role and be able to see both the big picture and the small details. You’ll thrive on building relationships across teams and will approach challenges with humility, honesty, and courage. You’ll be adaptable, structured, and ready to lead change, keeping your team motivated and focused even under pressure. In return, you’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative culture that really cares about what we do.
If you’re ready to take the initiative, offer structure and innovation to a fast-paced atmosphere, and make a meaningful difference to our merchandising team, we’d love to hear from you.
Working at Games Workshop
At Games Workshop we are looking for people who will do their best to understand the needs of the company and to put those needs first when they are at work. Because of this we believe that what you are like, hence the attitude you show to work and the way you choose to behave is even more important than your skills and experience.
The Warhammer World site is based just outside of Nottingham city centre and benefits from a nearby tram stop and free onsite car parking.
In return for your hard work, you will receive 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension scheme up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to GW meeting profit targets) and option to join our Share Save scheme. Oh and let’s not forget, a staff discount of between 25% and 50% on our products!
