Job Description About the role As a Loss Prevention Manager, you will work closely with the operational departments to establish policies and procedures that will safeguard the company's assets. You will play an integral role in further achieving, maintaining, and surpassing the hyper-growth journey that is Spanx. This role is based in our Atlanta headquarters, requires weekly in-office work Tuesday-Thursday, and reports to our Vice President, Global Controller. You’ll love it because you will… • Develop, enhance, and operationalize risk mitigation policies, processes and controls • Collect and analyze data from numerous sources, design workflows and procedures, identify data relationships and dependencies to help minimize financial risks • Identify, track, and report key risk indicators • Work closely with the operational departments (eCommerce, Supply Chain, Legal, IT, Accounting) to develop, monitor and assess the effectiveness of fraud controls and loss prevention programs on an ongoing basis • Collaborate with key stakeholders to review projects, business critical systems and related data to mitigate financial risks • Manage insurance policies, including renewals, claims, and audits • Partner with Supply Chain team and distribution centers to develop and implement inventory controls, focused on minimizing wholesale chargebacks and mitigating inventory shrink and shortages Qualifications We require... • Compliance mindset with a strong sense of integrity and the ability to balance business interests with the need for compliance standards • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Risk Management/Loss Prevention position within the eCommerce space • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, IT/Technology, or Legal is preferred • CIA certification is preferred • Expertise in compliance standards • Excellent management and process improvement skills • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple complex & confidential tasks • Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to details & deadlines Additional Information Spanx is proud of our continued Progressive People Practices… • Company Healthcare Plan: $0.00 out of pocket (Employee only benefit) Fertility testing and treatment are included in Spanx’s medical plans, even without the diagnosis of infertility. • Parental Leave Policy: Primary caregiver receives 16 weeks AND will have the option to work a half-time schedule (20 hours per week) for up to four additional weeks with full-time (40 hours per week) pay. • Mental Health Days: 10 days • 401K: Matched up to 4% with immediate vesting. • PTO & Company Holidays: PLUS two full weeks of companywide closures (one in the Spring; one between Christmas and NYE) • Flex Friday: Year-round half day Fridays!
