Position Summary Ubique Group is seeking an Ecommerce Merchandising, SEO & Experience Manager to lead Shopify storefront management, SEO strategy, UX, merchandising, and analytics across our 10+ direct-to-commercial (DTC) websites, our most critical customer engagement channels. These sites include flagship brands such as BizChair.com, RestaurantFurniture4Less.com, and ChurchChairs4Less.com. This dynamic role will leverage project management, technical, analytical, and creative skills to drive organic traffic, engagement, personalization, and conversion through optimized site experiences. The Manager will oversee the full digital merchandising lifecycle while harnessing SEO best practices, AI-powered tools, personalization engines, and advanced analytics to ensure data-driven growth. The role reports to the Director of Ubique Group’s DTC Marketing unit and will collaborate closely with marketing, category management, sales, and technology teams to deliver elevated B2B and B2C experiences that support Ubique Group’s strategic growth initiatives. Responsibilities • Lead the Shopify Plus roadmap for B2B and B2C experiences, creating best-in-class customer journeys from discovery to checkout. • Own storefront administration for multiple Shopify Plus sites, including site content, category/product updates, campaigns, promotions, and digital assets. • Drive SEO strategy and execution (on-page, technical, content, and off-page) to increase organic visibility, rankings, and qualified traffic. • Partner with content and category teams to develop optimized product/category copy, meta data, landing pages, and blog content that supports discovery and conversion. • Implement structured data, schema, and technical SEO enhancements to improve indexability and search engine performance. • Manage site merchandising optimization, including on-site search, filtering, sorting, recommendations, and AI-driven personalization. • Develop and manage a testing framework (A/B and multivariate testing) leveraging tools such as Google Analytics, or similar to uncover insights and implement improvements. • Measure, analyze, and report on performance across SEO, site engagement, conversion, bounce rates, and customer journeys. • Integrate and manage AI/automation tools for predictive merchandising, content personalization, and dynamic content where applicable. • Stay ahead of SEO, ecommerce, and UX trends, identifying opportunities to implement new tools, technologies, and strategies. • Ensure mobile-first, accessibility-compliant, and SEO-friendly design practices across all websites. • Partner with technology teams on integrations, site speed, core web vitals, and other performance improvements. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred. • 7+ years of ecommerce, SEO, and digital marketing experience with measurable results in organic growth, UX improvements, and conversion optimization. • Hands-on Shopify Plus experience required (multi-site preferred). • Proven track record of SEO strategy development and execution (technical, on-page, and content). • Strong knowledge of AI and personalization technologies. • Advanced proficiency with Google GA4, Google Search Console, SEO tools (Brightedge) and data visualization platforms (Looker, Tableau). • Comfort with rule-based and machine-learning-driven merchandising systems. • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS, Liquid (Shopify’s templating language), schema markup, and SEO-friendly site architecture (JavaScript a plus). • Track record of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities. • High attention to detail, accuracy, and deadline discipline. • Proactive, positive, and driven with the ability to innovate and execute.
