The Manager, Seller Experience and Controls role is a key contributor to our growing US Marketplace Business, now and into the future.
You’ll sweep us off our feet if:
• You understand and have experience in managing seller experience and controls in complex environments, primarily within Ecommerce and Marketplaces (eBay, Amazon, Etsy, Rakuten, etc...).
• You think and act like an owner and love working with teams to identify issues and build solutions at scale.
• You enjoy conducting research and analysis to identify seller experience control factors and trends.
• You can develop and deploy strategies to enhance seller experience, apply friction or control points, and drive changes to policies, processes, and tools for sellers.
• You are comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including legal, customer service, product, and analytics.
• You enjoy building strong relationships with internal stakeholders in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• You’re organized, disciplined, and can prioritize effectively in an environment of limitless opportunities.
• You communicate effectively across different mediums (written, verbal) at different levels of an organization.
You’ll make an impact by:
• Identifying, analyzing, and monitoring seller experience and controls trends: Identify & prioritize the highest value opportunities. Monitor existing trends and analyze data to adjust marketplace seller experience and controls strategies as needed.
• Building scalable solutions: Partner with internal & external team members to build elegant solutions that deliver on a massive scale.
• Developing partnerships with other experts: Maximize relationships with new and existing cross-functional partners and tap into the efforts of other, complementary subject matter experts in seller experience, legal, product & engineering.
• Staying up to date on industry trends: Keep an eye on industry trends and best practices related to seller experience and controls within ecommerce.
• Operating with excellence: Set an example in managing to KPIs, defining strategy, and delivering excellence.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years’ experience in marketplaces, ecommerce, or related field
• Strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks related to ecommerce products and seller experience controls is a plus.
