Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven SEM Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of paid search campaigns across platforms including Google Ads and Microsoft. This role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of mostly DTC clients, developing tailored SEM strategies aligned with business goals and KPIs, and delivering high-performing campaigns through ongoing analysis, testing, and optimization.
The ideal candidate has a strong command of digital marketing platforms, data-driven decision-making, and client relationship management. You will play a key role in cross-functional collaboration, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and best practices. Job Responsibilities:
• Drive overall planning, execution, strategy, and optimization of SEM campaigns for clients across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
• Own client relationships handling day to day communications, weekly/biweekly reporting, and Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Daily review and optimization of accounts which may include campaign builds, budget adjustments, negative keyword additions, etc.
• Analyze and interpret data across multiple sources including Google Ads, Google Analytics, Shopify, etc to identify trends and opportunities to increase performance.
• Recommend process improvements that can increase operational efficiency or improve quality of SEM activations.
• Contribute to the development of junior team members to deliver high quality work.
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of in-platform experience with Google/Bing/Display ads
• A strong understanding of digital marketing, specifically in SEM advertising and specifically in the DTC ecomm space.
• A strong work ethic and internal drive to succeed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and objectives
• Experience working in teams and collaborative environments
