Position Summary The Manager, Retail Chain & eCommerce Sales, is responsible for managing relationships and growing revenue with national retail chains, eCommerce platforms, and online resellers. This role ensures the company’s firearms, accessories, and tactical products are strategically positioned across all consumer-facing retail and digital channels. β€’ Candidates are required to either currently reside in or be open to relocating to an area that is within eight hours of Columbia, SC, and also within one hour of a major airport. β€’ β€’ β€’ Job Duties β€’ Manage and grow sales through key national retailers, big box stores, eCommerce platforms, and direct-to-consumer partners. β€’ Implement sales strategies and execute profitable sales growth plans for retail and eCommerce accounts to achieve quarterly and annual sales, margin, and revenue targets in alignment with company objectives. β€’ Position products for both brick-and-mortar and digital marketplaces while aligning brand strategy. β€’ Partner with marketing to support digital merchandising, MAP compliance, PDP optimization, and content development. β€’ Negotiate pricing, terms, co-op advertising (specific chain events and national holidays), and inventory programs with retail buyers and eCommerce category managers. β€’ Develop, implement, and activate the core portfolio strategy, digital shopping experiences, and in-store activations tailored to target segments. β€’ Analyze performance metrics, sell-through data, and category trends to identify opportunities. risks and inform an accurate demand forecast. β€’ Conduct regular account reviews, presentations, and product training with retail partners and digital resellers/ β€’ Monitor online pricing and enforces MAP policies in coordination with legal and compliance teams. β€’ Provide data and analytics to demand planning and operations teams to manage order flow, forecasts, and fulfillment. β€’ Represent the company at trade shows, retailer summits, and industry events. β€’ Recruit, hire, develop, and mentor a high performing team to achieve success. β€’ Other duties as assigned by management β€’ Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is required. Experience Requirements A minimum of five years of sales experience managing national retail chain accounts, eCommerce platforms and MAP policies. Direct experience in firearms, tactical products, or consumer (sporting/outdoor) goods with direct experience required. Additional requirements of this position include: β€’ Demonstrated ability to influence decision-makers, build trust with stakeholders, and successfully close complex deals to drive revenue growth. β€’ Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and drive profitable sales growth in the firearms market. β€’ Knowledgeable with all applicable firearms laws and export regulations (e.g., ITAR, FFL, state-specific laws). β€’ Familiarity with ATF regulations and eCommerce compliance standards for firearms and accessories. β€’ Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop and guide teams toward achieving organizational goals. β€’ Strong knowledge of digital merchandising, SEO/SEM concepts, and online retail KPIs. β€’ Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. β€’ Must be legally permitted to handle and transport firearms. Tools β€’ Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP. β€’ Proficient in CRM systems (Sales Force) and retail analytics tools (e.g., POS, syndicated data platforms). β€’ Strong skill set in creating and communicating sales materials in PPT β€’ Proficient in using excel to create and analyze critical sales data, sku performance and P&L’s Working Conditions All FN America employees have a responsibility to participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace and to comply with instructions given for their own safety and health and that of others.
