Job Summary:
LifeWay Christian Resources is seeking a Manager, Social Media - Organic and Paid to lead their multi-platform social media strategy and drive engagement while aligning campaigns with brand and revenue goals. In this role, you will oversee the social media team, manage content strategy, and optimize paid social efforts across various platforms.
Responsibilities:
β’ Lives out Lifewayβs mission and values, showing deep commitment to Kingdom work
β’ Lead Lifewayβs multi-platform social media strategy across key channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
β’ Manage and mentor the social media team, ensuring brand consistency and campaign effectiveness.
β’ Create and execute paid social media campaigns that drive engagement and conversions for events and ecommerce.
β’ Oversee daily content planning, publishing, and performance tracking.
β’ Analyze KPIs and apply insights to improve reach, engagement, and ROI.
β’ Foster influencer and partner relationships to grow audience reach.
β’ Collaborate with marketing, content, and creative teams to integrate social into broader GTM strategies.
β’ Limited travel, occasionally overnight
Qualifications:
Required:
β’ Bachelor's degree, Marketing, Communications, or related field - required
β’ 5+ years in social media, digital, or content marketing
β’ 1+ year leading social media professionals
β’ Demonstrated success growing engagement and conversions
β’ Knowledge of digital accessibility (ADA standards)
β’ Strong expertise in major platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest)
β’ Experience running paid social campaigns and managing budgets
β’ Experience with influencer marketing or social listening tools
β’ Proficiency in analytics platforms (e.g. Sprout, Hootsuite, GA4)
β’ Strong project management and communication skills
β’ Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration
β’ Actively involved in an evangelical Christian church
Preferred:
β’ Masters degree
β’ Experience in eCommerce or event marketing
β’ Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or Marketo
