Role description
Twist Bioscience is seeking a sharp analyst - and Tableau + SQL wizard - to help increase its marketing analytics capacity for a hard-charging Marketing org in the middle of several key transformations. This Marketing Analytics Manager would be a contract-to-hire (dependent on performance) individual contributor who, on a regular basis, would be working with the Director of Marketing Analytics to build out reporting solutions, engineer data for various purposes (e.g. data science), and analyze what’s happening throughout our funnels, relative to marketing and product drivers. All the while, this role would be responsible for engaging with a wide range of internal customers for delivering insights, refining analyses, and refining solution builds to expectation. You’ll also get the opportunity to contribute to advanced analytic methods within marketing (e.g. media mix modeling, propensity scoring, incrementality testing, etc), so enthusiasm around data science would definitely be a plus. Major Responsibilities: β€’ SQL-based data engineering β€’ Building Tableau dashboards, Looker dashboards, and other reporting solutions per scope and direction β€’ Contributing to both ecommerce/web and demand gen classes of analytics β€’ Using your knowledge of marketing dynamics, our institution, and our KPIs to help analyze marketing performance and gather insights β€’ Communicating analytical findings and reporting solutions to stakeholders in marketing, product, and other teams β€’ Contribute to Marketing Analytics communications to leadership at various levels β€’ Self-manage to successful and timely project completion, while staying aligned with internal customers Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor's degree in a physical science, social science, math, or computer science. β€’ 3+ years of marketing analytics experience. β€’ Strong SQL and Tableau skills (you will be tested; expect SQL window functions, joins, and subqueries, as well as Tableau LOD calculations, β€œanalytics” features, and parameter usage). β€’ Analytical reasoning abilities, strong business acumen, and creativity in problem solving (you will be tested; expect deductive and inductive reasoning challenges). β€’ Familiarity with B2B and digital marketing concepts and practices. β€’ Ability to communicate complex concepts, processes, and methods in delivering insights. β€’ Familiarity with Marketo, Salesforce, and Google Analytics preferred. β€’ Familiarity with Looker Studio a plus. β€’ Experience with digital advertising platforms and campaign setup a plus.
